Xpenditure is a solution designed to automate the entire expense management process. It allows users to scan and digitize receipts and eliminate the paper trail. Using a mobile app or a webcam, users upload receipts into the software. Xpenditure scans and extracts all relevant data. 

After logging into their online account, users can add additional notes, manage their time, mileage, and advances. Users can also quickly and easily generate expense or reimbursement reports that can be exported in a variety of formats (PDF, CSV) or integrated directly into the company's existing accounting system.

Xpenditure is designed to be highly scalable. The basic account is best suited for consultants or independent contractors. The pro account is the best option for companies with a higher employee count, and offers extended capabilities for approval flow and group management.

Xpenditure is also designed to sync with existing platforms, and integrates with a number of accounting platforms including Sage, QuickBooks, FreshBooks, and more, as well as applications for cloud storage and banking.

Xpenditure is bes suited for growing companies in a variety of industries, including accounting, construction, engineering, hospitality and nonprofit.

It is user friendly and there is always customer support available and willing to help.

Likes Least

There are still glitches in the system and changes happening to fix them. I like that there are changes being made based on customer feedback, however you get adjusted to one way of doing things and then abruptly there's an update.

Recommendations

If you are looking to alleviate your manual expense reporting system, this is a great first step. Other programs are very complex and overpriced. I haven't utilized all of the feature Xpenditure has to offer so I can only base my review off of taking pictures of receipts and matching them to a credit card statement.

This expense reporting tool saves me tons of time. Instead of typing over receipts into an Excel sheet, I just take a picture of the receipts I receive. At the end of the month, I generate an expense report in just a few clicks.

It was hard to find some settings I really wanted to change, but the support department helped me with that.
