I like that I find it very easy to use, the software look & feel is very friendly, is simple and has a great variety of features, such as reports, the pipeline, the reminders, among others. I am using it to take control of a real estate list of prospects and clients, and Pipedrive has an option to customize the pipeline for real estate companies.

Cons

Until now, I've only seen two cons:
- The web form generated by Pipedrive can't be customized or edited with CSS
- It doesn't has an integration with MailChimp to migrate the contacts from one platform to the other automatically (the only CRM software that I've seen that has this feature is Salesforce Lightning Professional

Very easy and straightforward CRM. I am a single user in our company and wanted a CRM to get started and this was the perfect cost efficient one for basic needs. Haven't explored all the functionalities yet though.

Cons

We don't use Gmail or other support emails for email integration is not easy to use the BCC address given per deal all the time. I wish there was a trick to do so.

Pipedrive is fairly easy to use, is excellent visually, is on website & app and, lastly, is adaptable so you can manage multiple types of pipes at the same time. It also drives you to put in activity once you complete something so your sales projects are always moving forward. Started using it to manage all my leads (inbound and outbound), and as my sales team grows, I realized is really easy to setup everything. You can customize your pipeline, create filters, manage leads, record e-mails, schedule activities... Is really easy to use. I recommend. The support is amazing, also.

Pros

It is very customizable. Once you find your way around it, which is fairly easy , you can really shape it they way you want it. I also really enjoy the workflow. Their activity page make it easy to go around your task, complete and add the next action.

Cons

Is really hard to find out something I dislike at pipedrive. The filters are not so easy to create, sometimes I felt lost integrating the API with some other services (but it wasn`t Pipedrive fault), and if you have a lot of leads, you'l eventually be lost.

As a start up, we were looking for a product to track our potential customers through the sales cycle. Pipedrive definitely fulfilled our needs. Relatively flexible and good functionality for the price. The interface took a little getting used to (slightly clunky) but definitely workable.

Been using Pipedrive for over 6 months, great product for organization purposes. Could use some refining as far as creating separate pipelines for individual employees. It does have quite a lot of features that make moving things along very easy (i.e. quotes, jobs that need scheduled, completed jobs, paperwork follow-ups etc.). Best CRM in my experience with a few

At a previous job, we had to train a sales staff on a new CRM so we demo'd and trialed a few and settled on PipeDrive. We had two sales reps go through some online demo's before showing them the software and they thought it seemed easy enough to learn. It was proven a success and the sales team was able to manage opportunities and customer flows with ease.

Pros

Easy to learn and fairly intuitive.

Cons

No cons at least during the time myself and my team had used it.

Advice to Others

Take the time to watch some online videos before even starting a trial of the app. Just familiarizing yourself with the layout and location of everything can be really helpful.

I have been using Pipedrive for the last 6 months to manage the work of a few partners responsible for prospecting new opportunities. The system is very friendly and easy-to-use since it is based and exhibited on the sales steps. The platform works well but I think that pricing is a bit expensive (mainly in Brazil - based in USD).

Pros

There are good options to import previous data (from Excel files), features to add % of probability for each opportunity, a nice stats dashboard to control/manage the activity inside the system, it is visual and is available in dozens of languages/currencies. The notification system to send automated reminders is very flexible and useful too.

Cons

Pricing (a bit expensive when compared to other cloud systems that are even more complete). It would be nice to have better features to integrate Pipedrive with other social media (to make communication easier).

Advice to Others

It is nice to use it for real during the trial period (30 days) and evaluate how the product is capable of being set/adjusted to support your current sales process. There´s also a great chance to enhance your process (mostly if it is based on Excel) using features of the product. It will also give you a good idea how complicated or simple is your current process and bring new insights to improve it.

I've used a lot of CRMs in my day, and PD takes the care 100%
as far as sales boys and girls are concerned, the day to day ops of being a running and gunning sales person no one makes it easier than the almighty PD

Pros

Super smooth, you can do a lot on one screen whereas other CRMs you need to do a lot of clicking and move through a lot of screens to do stuff, PD is simple and to the point

Cons

Not much left to be desired they pretty much do it all BUT exporting data is not always so friendly and when you have a significant need and ask them for it a lot of the times they hit you with "we will let the developers know" which is kinda their way of telling you to piss off which is excellent cause, for the most part, I love love love everything about them

Advice to Others

If you can use this, its hands down the best CRM, they offer a free 30-day trial if you don't and you should not believe me, at the end of the day a CRM is only as good as it is for you and your purposes, for me this thing is the cats pajamas but maybe for you not so much, give it a shot

Pipe Drive was a great choice. It's online and can be accessed from any computer or smartphone. It helps keep you moving in the right direction with new transactions. It keeps track of data that you can use to improve your sales or operations process. It's very user-friendly and their staff is always there to help you.

Pros

Ease of use, customize to fit your sales process and industry. Easy to view and understand the moment you sign up. I can look at other sales people in my organization and that beats looking at an excel spreadsheet. It allows you to see where your people or organization needs improvement at any given time.

I'm still working with all the features and really do not have any complaints.

Cons

It is not Salesforce. Don't expect integrations with Pardot or other marketing lead generation packages, but for the price and what it is designed to do, it does it very well!

Used Salesforce, used insightly, used Podio (not a CRM but we made it one), used a spreadsheet. In Salesforce and Insightly case they are clunky, slow, have all sorts of features that are just cr&p. The email integrations are clunky. I mean how does a CRM have poor email integration. Crazy. Insightly was the worst for keeping contacts up to date. The gmail and mailchimp "integrations" were rubbish and the worst part was for gmail it was only one way. So for anyone updating a contact on your phone insightly wouldn't update and seemed to just over rule your change. So annoying. And you could not bulk edit or update clients, companies or deals. So annoying!

Podio was heaps better! Even though it was for project management. Bulk edit and its custimisation were awesome, but it just was not a CRM.

Pipedrive, is simple, everything is in a "Pipe" of potential deals. The way we think about deals. Many factors change at our potential clients to the bulk edit (which is intuitive and easy to use) is such a good feature! And we have it synced across gmail (contacts, calendar and mail), iOS devices, mailchimp. (use FullContact as well as Piesync and built in Pipedrive gmail integration). Seriously awesome!

Pros

Simple, easy, intuitive, bulk edit/ upload feature is worth it alone. Gmail integration, simple interface. Seriously gold!

Cons

None really, would love a way to dial/ record or notate a phone call directly from a potential client, but overall is great!

Advice to Others

Do it. I would set up a "fake" or "test" organisation first using totally different sign ins etc, clean your data before importing, then play around with it. Then once comfortable set-up the "real" company and deals etc

Pipedrive has implemented a Kanban pipeline management solution. This is ideal for an activity based sales model such as a SaaS vendor. All deal and contact information needed to take action is on one page. The mobile iPhone and iPad apps work equally well.

Cons

I'd like to see improved integration with email automation platforms such as Drip. It could also benefit from improved reporting options.

The system is incredibly intuitive. Most CRMs focus on jamming as many features into the product as possible. But being able to say "yes" to everyone's feature request should be far less important than making sure the product works well and is simple to use. Pipedrive nails that.

Cons

There are plenty of integrations via Zapier, but I'd love to see some built-in integrations to pull in data from other CRMs. When we first started, it would have been great to connect to Hubspot and pull in contacts and associated deals with as much data as Hubspot allows to be sent via their API.

Pipedrive was so easy to set up and use that I barely needed to use the instructions. It is very easy to make changes, create new Pipelines, change the stages of the existing ones and to update information.
I love that it gives me warnings in my inbox if I have a deadline, and I love the different ways that I can filter the data and leads to make sure that I am focused on my highest priority.
This is one of the easiest programs that I have ever used to get up and running quickly.

Cons

Was a bit hard to figure out how to add additional fields, and they are not obvious, even when I have them there. Often people miss entering the correct data. I haven't used the reporting functions to any great extent. One thing that I noticed was that the reporting did not connect with emails send from my company email. Not sure why that is.

It would be nice to allocate actions by email to people outside pipeline, for example to a technical specialist. It would also be nice to have some hierachy of contacts but not at the expense of making it difficult to use.

Using Pipedrive to track our leads has taken our business to the next level. As a digital agency, remembering to follow up with clients and nurture leads is the only way to grow your revenue. The old fashion way of just letting emails sit in our inbox wasn't working. We needed something to help us out. We've been using pipedrive for over two years now. It's a great and intuitive CRM built by salespeople for salespeople.
From our experience, teams that work with pipedrive and build their pipelines correctly can have new salespeople generating sales very quickly after starting to work with the system - it's that intuitive.
Couple that with great zapier integration and other native integration and a very competitive price point, this is huge value for money.
We love it.

User roles are limited
RTL text not yet supported (we're from Israel)
No option to define custom fields per pipeline
No automatic workflows

Advice to Others

If you want simple but powerful sales tool, that salespeople actually like using - pipedrive is the answer, and the product is constantly evolving.

I love Pipedrive, although I ultimately switched it for Contactually. I did use it for about 6-12 months. It's very visual and simple and quick to learn.

Pros

- Easy to use
- Very visual
- Links into email
- Lots of help videos

Cons

- Sometimes overly simplistic

Using a sales pipeline tool stops business opportunities slipping through our fingers. PipeDrive is a nice simple piece of software to keep track of prospects and deals on a daily basis. At a glance we can see who we need to chase, proposals to write and invoices to send. It has become a key discipline driver to make sure we keep on doing the right thing. Without it I don't think we could have achieved the 45% year on year growth in 16/17.

p.s would be nice to be billed in sterling not Euros though.

Pros

The main drag and drop deal page gives an immediate visual overview of the pipeline

Cons

Would like a better way of importing contacts from outlook.

Don't like being billed in Euros. Would like to be billed in £Sterling

I chose Pipedrive not just to manage all my deals in one place, but also to manage practically all other activities (projects) too.

The flexibility is provides to add new fields is SO helpful. Starting a new business, I'm capturing 20-40 new contacts per week - I added fields to each contact (where met and the date) so I can keep track of who's who instead of adding that information to the note for each one.

Pipedrive provides me a single system that is
- visual: clearly manage progression from start to finish
- drag-and-drop: so quick to update stages or move to another pipeline
- flexible: I customise pipelines & their stages titles to set out project progression too
- automated: setting timescales on each stage draws my attention to deals I that require
checking or action taking
- supported: I needed 2 questions answered, and the support was perfect (and immediate)!

I'm recommending this to everyone I meet to quickly and easily manage their sales (and projects) without the need for any great effort or distraction.

I'm setting up sales training courses and will be embedding use of Pipedrive into them: consistently managing pipelines is one of the most important activities for any salesperson.

Pros

Visual, drag-and-drop, flexibility to customise pipelines, stages and fields.

Cons

Having to change " deal" to " Deal" every time is annoying (it's a title so should be upper case).

Advice to Others

It would be really helpful (and really efficient) to have the option to be able to set default values on the fields for new items as they're added. For example.

1. Change automatic additions to titles
Change the added text: " deal" to " Deal" or " Project" or " Anything Else"
(maybe add an incremental count [number each client's deal Deal 001, Deal 002, etc.] :

2. Having the option to set a field value when adding a new item.
Being able to set it to a fixed default value or the last value used (same as the last item
added of that kind).
E.g.
I add all contacts met at an event at once. Having the 'where met' and 'when met' fields
default to the last item added would automatically complete them for me every time.

Pipedrive is the first "CRM" tool I or my company has ever used, and it is precisely the sort of tool that we hoped it would be. We're able to capture all sorts of detailed information regarding each of the many accounts we're managing, provides reminders on follow-up actions with existing and newly established accounts, and much more. Pipedrive is enabling us to grow our business in a way that we could not do without it!

We are a 10+ person sales organization who switched from Salesforce.com to Pipedrive about 6 months ago. We found Pipedrive much easier to use and the our sales people felt it was much more a tool for them rather than just a tool for management.

The API is a powerful tool and has been key to integrating Pipedrive to our back end systems. We initially switched because of the cost of Salesforce.com but soon discovered that Pipedrive was actually a much better system for us and at a more reasonable price.

Pros

API and overall user friendliness. Love the Pipeline visibility screen.

Cons

Could use a more powerful report report writer like Salesforce.com
