iKnowMed Generation 2 is a cloud-based electronic health recording solution built for the needs of oncologists and hematologists. It is designed to help practices meet Stage 1 and Stage 2 of Meaningful Use certification. In addition to the core EHR functionality, it also offers tools for tracking patient demographics, patient histories, e-prescribing, charge capture and notes. iKnowMed Generation 2 also supports oncology-specific requirements. PROS

I liked the ease of use. I like the way the chemotherapy regimens could be changed in frequency.

CONS

Too easy to have multiple regimens with the same drugs but different frequencies duplicated.

Log off security feature

Very difficult not user friendly. ...

PROS

That the patient tracker has filter......

CONS

not user friendly, vey difficult to use and...Please remove the time out feature that logs you off and makes you sign on again WHILE USING IT. I cant tell you how frustrating it is to start all over when there are several orders being handed to me and I have to pull all my patients up again!! This delays patient care!

iKnowMed for outpatient chemotherapy clinic

PROS

They gave great support in getting the program going and merging old and new systems.

CONS

It tends to crash once a day, most days. There is a fun dinosaur game to play while it reboots. Be sure to save your work often.

iKnowMed EMR software is very user-friendly, I used it when I worked at an Oncologist office.
