Asset Panda Software


 

Asset Panda is a web-based platform for facility managers that offers a suite of applications including asset tracking, maintenance management, and more. It’s fully mobile and tablet compatible, and can be used from anywhere, while updating all data in real-time.

Unlimited locations, users, and mobile access are included standard, and it’s compatible on Windows, Mac, iPad, iPhone, and Android.

With Asset Panda, users can assign contacts by location, track depreciations, use a barcode scanner to look up asset details, automate pick lists, and more. Role-based security ensures that employees are granted the appropriate level of access, so they always see the information relevant to what they’re working on.

Asset Panda also offers unlimited, customized exporting and reporting features. Reports can be automated via email, with the ability to add custom calculation fields (and designate if each field should be required) before sending.

Asset Panda offers a free 14-day trial, and the app is available on the Apple store or the Google Play store.

It's user friendly and very easy to get assistance with any questions you need answered immediately. I love how customizable it is for our specific business. MASON was a huge help on getting this thing up and running. He was always there to answer my questions and help me set up everything quickly. He made it a very easy process!

Cons

No integration with QB and not being able to pull from our inventory to our assets. Hopefully in the future AP is able to develop the software so we don't have to constantly use 2 systems and rather update more easily.

Tracking assets anywhere anytime, even on a mobile device. Did I mention it supports barcodes?

Pros

Access (obviously), features, mobile app, updates to software, reporting is very good. The ability to easily create users and restrict what they can do, such as create but not edit.

I love how thorough the system is. There is so much room for detail about different assets and how they can be assigned. I am still getting familiar with the system and am figuring out more things about how it can benefit our company.

Cons

So far, I am not a huge fan of how overwhelming it is with different sections and steps for adding assets and importing lists. I know that I will become more familiar with it and it will not be a problem so I am not too worried about that.

Extremely customizable for nearly any usage scenario we could devise. The customer rep was exceedingly helpful in walking us through the functionality and capabilities of the software, and patiently taking us through our first setup.

Cons

There is a steep learning curve on the administrative/setup side of this software. Considering it can be configured to perform any number of actions on any number of data fields for any number of assets, familiarity with programming and/or software development is a must.

Cons

Its taken some time to get to grips with the program, but we are getting there. the more we use it the better we will get. I am struggling to set up a few notification features.

Saving money with ability to track tools.

Pros

Flexibility and versatility. The software can do almost anything you need it to and if it's not possible asset panda tries to make it happen in the future.

Cons

I wish you could each department could have their own homepage with tools listed and laid out for just that department.

tracking and asset checking in/out solution

Pros

The flexibility of the system, we asked for a simple asset tracking database and received a all encompassing tracking, modifying checking in and out solution!

Cons

Sometimes the complexity of the "back-end", can lead to problems. Changing a field can affect multiple other areas.

Simple, straight forward asset management that doesn't suck. Plus, Pandas! Who doesn't love Pandas, am I right??

Pros

It's simple to navigate and has a pleasant looking GUI. Also, as I've mentioned the customer support is hands down the greatest. Always here to help!

Cons

First, I love that your team worked on getting OneLogin setup for us but it would of been great if this feature was fully integrated as well as JAMF support. Which, I know you are working on so it's a half con. hehe. It would be very helpful as well to be able to easily add photos of different model hardware. The last asset management software we used, albeit an overall terrible experience, they did have one feature which was great. You were able to do a google photo lookup of a model and append it to the model type. I found this extremely helpful. Lastly, it would be nice if notification emails were a bit better looking and have more functionality to customize those emails.

This software will help the company stay on top of the maintenance for their machines. It will help to keep things running smoother and will save money by catching problems before they occur.

Pros

Everything in the program is pretty organized and once you get a feel for it, it is pretty easy to use.

Cons

I don't know a lot about software programs and how to operate them, so I was very lost in the beginning when trying to figure out how all the functions worked. The team has been very helpful when I call support and always guided me in the right direction.

The ability to have a physical inventory of all of our assets for accuracy and billing.

Pros

The price point along with the support cant be beat. Support, sales and implementation staff were very helpful.

Cons

We currently do not have any negatives at this time but there will always be things that come up. Once are tags show up, we will move forward.

Plenty of programming and standard template options...the best bang for the buck available. From rights to access, it's easy & simple.

Cons

Some times getting signal feed to wireless devices is an issue...but that's a function of the facilities we service; sometimes the uploading hesitates a bit...but small issues really.
