The system includes reports to track occupancy/vacancy, move history, space class summary, area summary, or assigned spaces. MicroMain Facility Management features the ability to import AutoCAD files.

This is the first time we have used this product, but with the training and support it is a reasonability easy software to learn.
I had already had 12 years experience with a software called MP2, which the version I had is no longer available. This may
have helped with the transition to the new software. I feel it will be able to do all we need to accomplish at this time.
When you type in data it automatically saves the data. I also like the screens it pulls up to address the data with out having to
close out the other screens you are working on.
Can not find a column to put a priority in on jobs when you have several. The only priority you can choose is the one for the work
demand, it also needs a separate column for prioritizing the work schedule. I'm also still having issues with the reports that I'm
trying to run, I feel the system needs a filter sections where you could create your own filters by typing in the information you are
looking for, so you don't have to put all the data and sort it in the spreadsheets.

Not as user friendly as some of the other software out there. I would love to be able to create new fields on the fly. If I create a new work order under an asset that's not in the system yet, then I have to back out and create the new asset first. There should be a drop down feature under the asset tab that you can just add in from any screen. The same should go for all the functions in the system.
Make sure it's right for your business. There's lots this software can do, but you don't have to use it all.

Not very familiar with this product but thus far it serves its purpose as far as organizing and giving the opportunity to prioritize work as needed.
Not really user friendly, and takes some getting used too. But once you manage to get the hang of how the ENTIRE SYSTEM operates and it's functions, it them becomes routine.
The ability to prioritize work orders by asset, weather routine maintenance, scheduled repair, emergency repair and safety related items. All Safety related items should be red flagged and automatically sent in to an OPEN work order rather then over looked in the "Requested" section. They should also be flagged some how, either color, or sent to the top of the list and BOLD - this way all safety related items get the attention they need and can be addressed in a timely manner.

Easy to navigate. I don't have to dig through tons of stuff that I will never use. I like the capability of generating a purchase order and referencing it to a work order. Reporting system is pretty good also, once you practice a bit. Training was excellent!
No complaints. It would be nice to have an email automatically generate to your staff when they are assigned a work order, or every morning when I come in, the work orders due for that day are already on the printer.
Consider this software, due to ease of use. You are able to navigate through the tabs/headers and find what you need quick.

We were not using any kind of software, so we started using MicroMain from scratch. It is very intuitive and simple to set up and start using . There is quite a bit of customization as far as naming fields to match your appropriate use. I really like the project feature which allows you to type a lot of information together under one project heading. I also really like the ability to store electronic documents within the system eliminating file drawers of paper in my office.
I haven't found anything I don't like as of yet! The software is so easy to use I haven't gone to any formal training. I've simply read the help text and user manual and got it up and running without any problem whatsoever
I evaluated six different competitors products before I selected MicroMan. It is a very strong application for a organization that isn't generating revenue through maintenance

MicroMain provides us the best support and service. They always fix any issues or find an alternative way to fix the problem we have. The out-of-box software includes all of the major functions needed for CMMS, such as work order, asset, part inventory, purchase order, etc. The software is also customizable (via the source code) to fit the company's requirement.
The user security level configuration is not deep enough to control the field and button level (ex. enable/disable, read/update/delete etc.). For example, the system cannot prevent the user in the technician group from clicking the "Complete" button to close the WO when they are not allowed to close the WO.
To evaluate the software, the company created the evaluation matrix and evaluation criteria (such as cost, ease of use, flexibility, reliability, support, custom programming, and overall value). The final decision will be made based on the fact finding on the criteria and the weight to each criteria.

Assess how you will be using it and the specifics of the applications. So many are very good; you just have to find the fit for your organization.
