An excellent experience overall as the software is so user friendly yet offers a lot of advanced features and customization. If you are lucky to have two employers both using Homebase, schedule management along with tracking earnings, team messages, etc. is effortless because you can have multiple teams on the same app that you can toggle between.

If you’re running a small-to-medium team, especially in hourly or shift-based work, Homebase offers a strong, user‐friendly option for scheduling, time-tracking, and communication. It ticks a lot of boxes in terms of ease of use and value. However, if you have a larger operation or are looking for those better features, you may need to upgrade or consider a different product.

For me, Homebase feels like the better choice because it’s simple, affordable, and easy to use right away. It covers everything I actually need, like scheduling, time tracking, and team communication, but without all the extra complexity that comes with larger WFM systems. If I ever ran a much bigger operation with multiple locations and more advanced reporting needs, I might consider a full WFM platform, but for a small, hands-on team like mine, Homebase just makes day-to-day management smoother and less stressful.
