Unify is a developer of unified communications (UC) solutions. OpenScape, Unify’s IP-based UC system, is designed for businesses ranging in size from 100 to 500,000 employees across multiple sites.
OpenScape offers UC capabilities such as unified messaging, which allows employees to receive emails, faxes, voice messages and SMS texts across a variety of devices. End users can personalize their call routing rules with OpenScape clients.
Presence information indicates users’ availability across a number of communications modes, such as voice, IM and video. Mobile clients extend UC capabilities to tablets and smartphones. Users can also initiate voice and video conferences without prior planning. Additional features, such as interactive voice response (IVR), are available for contact centers.
OpenScape supports out-of-the-box integrations as well as custom integrations via application program interfaces (APIs).
The system can be deployed on-premise, using Unify’s hardware, or on virtual machines. Unify also offers a cloud-based edition of the OpenScape system. Businesses can opt for either a permanent or a subscription licensing plan.
