Gartner Digital Markets Paid Advertising Specialist
We are looking for an experienced online advertiser to join our growing team. You'll expand your skill set and take on new challenges across a variety of media throughout the Gartner Digital Markets web properties (Software Advice, Capterra and GetApp).
We're looking for someone who is:
Well versed on a variety of advertising platforms. You have 2+ years of experience managing campaigns across top platforms like Google AdWords, Bing Ads, and more.
A specialist in 1-2 advertising areas. You have extensive experience in specific areas of online advertising that you can contribute to the team starting on day one.
Highly analytical. You are able to analyze large data sets to see how a number of key metrics work together to maintain a target ROI.
An Excel whiz. You are able to handle important Excel functions like sorting, filtering, vlookups, concatenations and pivot tables.
What you'll do all day:
Lead key initiatives and new projects. Each specialist on the team is responsible for a handful of specialty-focus areas. Examples include - but are not limited to - landing page testing, mobile conversion optimization, display networks, and email campaigns.
Build campaigns. Within your first two months you’ll be responsible for managing a number of our software markets using Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Yahoo Gemini and other advertising platforms.
Write & test ad copy. You will consistently test new text and display ads to maximize key metrics like click-through-rate, cost-per-conversion and profitability.
Analyze and optimize. You’ll become a master of our in-house reporting system and analytical tools to manage and improve your campaign performance.
How you'll be measured:
Performance vs. forecast. We set monthly and quarterly goals for the markets you manage and then you take ownership of meeting them.
Revenue growth. You will analyze and optimize your campaigns on a daily, weekly and monthly level to ensure consistent growth.
Your ability to go above and beyond. You take pride in exceeding expectations, identifying new opportunities, and streamlining processes.

You prefer to focus on the client.You'll be managing campaigns with a defined revenue goal. If you're more interested in managing relationships, then this job isn't going to be for you.
You're not a numbers person. Online advertising is a numbers game, so you won't enjoy yourself if large data sets make your head spin.
You can't sit in front of a computer all day. You’ll interact with our team and other departments, but the majority of your day will be in front of your computer. A sharp focus and attention to detail will be necessary for your success.
