If you’re a strong writer with expert research skills to boot, we wanna talk to you. You’ll research and write articles, buyer's guides, reports and other types of content for our website.


We're looking for someone who:

  • Writes really well. You’re a commander of the written word. We’re looking for experienced writers; just speaking English isn’t enough here.
  • Is passionate about content marketing. You’ll develop market specific buyer personas and create content plans that target them by doing extensive keyword research and planning.
  • Is a bit of a smarty pants. You can quickly grasp complex or foreign topics - especially in business and technology - and then communicate them clearly.
  • Is crazy organized and efficient. You can juggle multiple editorial and content projects without breaking a sweat. You're a master of multi-tasking.
  • Is tech and web savvy. We're not looking for engineers here, but we find people who are clever searching and navigating the web do best.

What you'll do all day:

  • Research software and technology topics. On top of mastering your market, you’ll be no stranger to all the new and exciting trends happening within your industry.
  • Interview the experts. To research a content project, you've gotta go straight to the source and talk to an expert. You're not afraid to pick up the phone.
  • Generate quality content. You’ll write articles, dive into spreadsheets and data analysis, develop research reports, come up with ideas for infographics and maybe even create a video or two.

You'll be measured on how well you:

  • Create profitable content. You’ll identify new trends and come up with creative ways to produce content that performs well from a traffic and engagement perspective.
  • Meet deadlines. We generate a lot of content, so we'll need you to finish assignments on time to keep those editorial trains rolling.
  • Feed the editorial calendar. You'll be responsible for planning your content in advance. You'll plan a creative mix that appeals to your unique audience, with a steady publishing cadence.

A few reasons why you might hate it:

  • You're not interested in business. Writing about software and business is a bit drier than, say, writing about food, fashion or the NFL.
  • Constructive criticism destroys you. We strive for top-quality content, and sometimes we have to rip it apart before we can rebuild it.
  • You want a mellow environment. We'll admit it: we're pretty intense. We like to work hard and GSD (that's Get Stuff Done). It's not for everyone.
