Paid Advertising Internship
Gartner Digital Markets is looking for a budding digital advertising intern to join our in-house team. You’ll put theory into practice with paid campaign analysis, optimization, testing and reporting across many top platforms. All you need is a passion for online advertising, a smarty-pants GPA, and a knack for analytics; we’ll show you the rest!
What you’ll do:
Learn the basics of SEM. We’ll teach you the ABC’s of campaign builds, keyword research, and audience targeting. Eventually, you’ll fly solo with some accounts to tinker with on your own.
Report and analyze. You’ll pull reports on the data that drives our campaigns as well as help to identify trends and opportunities that create real time results.
Help write & test ad copy. You’ll work with the team to test new text and display ads to maximize key metrics like click-through rate and visits to our site.
What you’ll need:
A bachelor’s degree in the works. You definitely have a high GPA and your professors love working with you.
A highly analytical mindset. This role requires in-depth campaign reporting and analysis. If you’d rather like, tweet, and hashtag all day long, then this isn’t the role for you.
Learning agility and a positive attitude. To build a strong foundation, you’ll need to learn quickly and bring a “get stuff done” attitude to the table.
Who you are:
A numbers person. Online advertising is a numbers game, so you won't enjoy yourself if large data sets make your head spin.
An Excel wiz. You can handle basic Excel functions and are excited to learn pivot tables, vlookups, and concatenations.
Super organized & borderline compulsive. You are able to lean on your organization and time management skills to take on multiple projects.
