iCare is a cloud-based application for school management and parent-teacher communication. It is designed to work on desktops as well as mobile devices and is suitable for child care and early education programs of all sizes. Key features include photo sharing and chat tools for parent-teacher communication, journaling, program management and payment management.
Parents can receive a daily report about their child via email and can also opt to receive instant messages throughout the day. Teachers can share photos with parents, who can respond through chat, email or a “like” feature.
iCare offers pre-defined roles for administrators, teachers and parents. Administrators have access to enrollment, record keeping, attendance, security, report making, staffing, class capacity tracking and tuition billing.
iCare offers a free version of the software, and paid subscriptions are billed monthly. Support is available through an online forum, over the phone and via email.
