Ease of use, and great customer service. Reports of all kinds are quick and simple to create. It's impossible to choose a favorite feature. Publishing member directories is easy-peasy. Annual contribution statements -- which used to be a labor intensive nightmare -- is mostly just a matter of a few clicks now. SK emails the contribution statements, eliminating a lot of time, drudgery, and postage costs. There are some sophisticated options that are very simple to use, such as mail merge. The contribution keeper is straightforward, very clean and simple, minimal clicks make quick work of entering contributions.
I don't care for the music they play on hold when I call the Help Desk. That's really the worst thing I can think of.
Go to live demonstrations of different programs if they are available in your area. It's hard to evaluate a program without seeing how it functions.

Our previous system was cumbersome, so converting to SK7 has been wonderful. The system is easy to navigate and it has a lot of flexibility with customized fields that allow us to adapt it to our needs. There's a solid selection of standard reports for basic reporting, and the ability to create your own reports with relative ease. We just started using the youth ministry features and staff are really appreciating its capability. We use QuickBooks for our accounting software and SK7 integrates nicely for our purposes for tracking revenue.
As I have expressed to the company, I am disappointed that support after the first year is based on the number of licenses you have, and as such, is very expensive for us. As a result, unless there's something drastic, we don't call. As the system administrator, I would be the only one calling for support, and I have recommended that they structure a tiered fee based on actual use. I know we'd get more out of the system if we could ask questions as they occur.
This is a user-friendly software program, but like any database, it's only as good as the data that is entered! Keep things as simple as possible if you have multiple users so your data is consistent.
I like that it integrates with QuickBooks, and that was one of the main reasons for purchasing it (along with ease of use).

Ease of use & excellent customer service/communication. I truly believe that SK understands that most churches are in a financial strain, so they keep their prices within reason...which makes perfect sense, as I'm sure they'll get more sales than other church software companies based on customer referrals.
Many of the tools are not YET (I'm claiming it to come soon :) available for Mac.
While the product/demo itself is very impressive with price to match, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS take customer service into consideration. When we were comparing 2 software systems (SK won overall hands down) the customer service of the other sucked big time. Although SK had the better price, had they been more expensive I would've still selected SK based on the product & customer service alone.

Extremely easy software to use. Easy to navigate around the modules. We purchased the Administrative/Membership/Contributions module. Love the Contribution reports! The Help Desk personnel is easy to deal with, although I only had to call them once. We are in the process of purchasing the Child Check-In module and are expecting it to be just as excellent.
Cannot think of anything I do not like. I had only one issue and the Help Desk sent me a file to download, which solved my problem.
If you have never worked with a church management or contributions software before, I would recommend Servant Keeper for its ease of use and simplicity. It works well with QuickBooks.

Servant Keeper software is exceptionally user friendly. Servant Keeper helps me to get what I need done and be able to extract info quickly with no stress. Statements of contributions are easily generated with a custom note. Confidential counseling notes are safely kept due to the great security for each user. Important areas in congregants lives never slip by ( birthdays, anniversaries, even anniversary of the date of a death of a loved one) since SK makes the process so easy. This frees me up to do other areas of ministry without headaches of admin that I have experienced in the past with other programs prior to using SK.
I have no complaints. At first I hoped they would have bill paying built in but now I find it makes more sense to link with the system of my choice.
