AEC-Sync is primarily a document management system. It provides an online repository that project members can use to securely store and access project documents. Key features include document versioning, which automatically numbers each version of the document, and email notifications, which sends out an email alert any time a subcontractor uploads a submittal or request for information (RFI). AEC-Sync also helps facilitate project communication. You can create forums with project-specific threads, keep track of meeting information like who was there and what was said, and create project-wide action lists to track activities of all project members.

AEC-Sync is developed for architects of any size, from less than $1 million in annual revenue to $1 billion. It is 100% web-based and therefore can be used on any computer or mobile device with Internet access. This includes both machines that run on Mac OS X and Windows.
