Every sales tool in one!

PROS

Its so packed with features that all your needs will be covered as a sales manager/project manager. Great customer service and easy to adapt to.

CONS

CRM tool can use some improvement. UI for the mobile app can be made better.

Speed up quoting

Great product .. customer service is outstanding.. We have seen the product develop based on some issues specific to our usage. They listen to our requirements and adapt

Lots of options and different ways to access certain information, Has helped stream line our tracking and access to quotes

CONS

Takes some time getting used too. but worth the effort, Attaching email can be a problem posting to the wrong project if you did not close out of the previous email - in other words .. user error.

Good Value for the price

PROS

Value is there. It is less expensive than some of the other construction software products out there.

CONS

You get what you pay for. Everything you need in a construction management software is there, but doesn't have a lot of the extras that other software systems carry.

Reasonable cost project management software.

Overall it is a pretty decent product. Sometimes we feel like it is in the beta phase. For the money, I would recommend it. We are a subcontractor and general contractor and it works in both applications for us.

PROS

The cost is outstanding, the O&M creation tool is a great time saver, it has bidding and project management modules, tracking tools are great and creates pay applications really easy.

CONS

Bidtracer makes some things like submittals harder than other programs. Submittals are very convoluted to use. Financial module does not work completely yet. Bidtracer does not create invoices. Lots of extra modules and items that we do not utilize.

Bidding process made easy

PROS

My family is in the construction industry and uses this. It has been a great tool to bid on contractors for projects. You can track all your projects through the bidding process and create personal quotes to send to your clients. Overall, can act like a CRM tool with all of its functionality.

CONS

Easy program to pick up and use with minimal training however, like any software program this can have its moments and be a little slow at times.

I hate this software

The customer service was good, but I really hate this software. I can't wait to switch back to BuildingConnected. Rather pay 3-4x as much for BuildingConnected than to suffer through using this program.

PROS

It did what it was supposed to - I can send invites. It was cheap. Customer service is good.

CONS

The interface is clunky, unorganized, and over-saturated with information. It is extremely difficult to navigate, and not intuitive at all. I am normally very good with new software, but I am lost and having to ask for help with this all the time. You have to enter data in multiple places to get a single thing done. The interface itself is quite ugly and very dated looking. No software should be this difficult to figure out how to use and navigate.

PROS

The product development included industry professionals and was designed with us in mind. They really thought through how the process of bidding projects and procuring work is executed. The web-based architecture and security features give us easy access and the ability to keep our data secure.

CONS

New features and updates can't come quick enough. We would love to see enhancements to the product come quarterly.

Great Product that Centralizes everything

PROS

Bidtracer is great for centralizing all the aspects of construction project into one area. It has a very nice centralized platform that helps to keep all aspects of a project bid in a neat, cohesive bundle

CONS

I am not the most "tech literate" person, so getting used to the software in the beginning did present its challenges, but once you get used to it, the program is very helpful.
