Easy Price Pro Software


 

Easy Price Pro, designed in 1990 by a professional homebuilder, is a full suite of applications created specifically for residential contractors. This suite includes service management, accounting, project management, estimating, bid management, and more. Its Estimating module can be purchased standalone, and can suit the needs of electricians, plumbers, builders, landscapers, and many other trades.

The software can be installed locally on-premise, or as a web-based solution, so staff members in the field can have access to the most up-to-date data at all times. Easy Price Pro is compatible on a variety of different platforms, including tablet, PC, and Mac. 

Easy Price Pro also offers a feature called a Job Analyser, which allows users to track job status at any time, regardless if the job was lost, won, or is in progress.

waste of money

I recently purchased easy price pro with all the promises that it would cut my estimate time
what a waste of money
it does not make it any quicker and my own estimate is far more professional looking
I did try and get a refund and have just run against a brick wall I have now handed it to the solicitors

I first purchased Easy Price Pro in 2010 and have saved a lot of time using it. It helped me win more work and even paid for itself after the first 2 quotes I produced. Definitely worth its money as I don't have to spend as much time in the office and spend more time on site. One of the best purchases my business has made.

The best thing about this software is the concept of it! I loved the the idea of it and what it could potentially do for my company. I no longer use the product, this is because I was drawn by its potential but let down by the reality.

You will find holes all through out this software, the fancy bits they show you are how their build modules calculate the cost automatically and at first glance this looks great until you realise that you won't build practically the way they have set up their modules.

The trades are different as are their work packages.

You'll end up with a ball park estimate but the detail of how you got it will be unreliable. Pointless! If you wanted that then just multiply your overall footprint by the national build average or lick you finger, hold it up and take a rough guess!!

Recommendations

Do not buy this, it's a huge waste of money!! Every decent merchant will do you a bill of quantities or a materials list pretty cheaply in order to win your business. They are more accurate, save your money and use them.
