With iSqFt, contractors can streamline the entire pre-construction process, leading to an experience that is more efficient and consistent for both contractors and bidders. iSqFt also helps companies streamline their preconstruction processes and reduce wasted time and effort.
Designed to address the unique challenges of general contractors, design-build firms, and construction managers of any size, iSqFt's customizable Web-based system, winner of Constructech Magazine’s “2011 Top Products” award, brings together every facet of a contractor's bid process into a single application.
The iSqFt 10 platform includes an online plan room of publicly bid projects. When a general contractor finds a job it wants to bid, it's simple to just copy the project over to their private plan room and then send out invites to their bidders using their own database of bidders or iSqFt's large public database of vendors.
In addition, any documents privately uploaded can be formatted by iSqFt at no additional cost.
We recommend iSqFt to general contractors of any size and specialty seeking a more efficient, effective bid management process. We also really like the support and training available to both GCs and bidders.

Tech support is not able to download their own takeoff tools. There's no way we could do it.

The technical support team is obviously not cross-trained. There was a point on my last call that the tech support person hung up the phone. He called me back ten minutes later and apologized for the dropped call. He then placed me on hold as I watched him (on the screen share program) make numerous attempts to get their software to work but were unable to do so. By this time it was after 6PM EST. I was again advised that my case would be escalated, and someone would call me back. The tech rep that I was speaking with was unable to tell me if the call would come that day, the next day, or when.
They have great project listings. They answer the phone after 5 PM.
I began attempting to do a takeoff using their take off viewer/toolbox on Friday 6/6/14. I contacted tech support. I contacted tech support again on 6/9, and no one resolved my issue. I contacted tech support again on 06/10 and spent from 3-6 PM on the phone with numerous tech support team members, and they logged me into the software to screen share, and none of the three people that I worked with were able to install their own product. I would never recommend their product to anyone for any reason. I have never had any of these problems with any other software providers.
Try the two week trial. If you are a small business owner, making money is directly related to plan access and takeoff tools.

It's the best and most user-friendly interface I have seen in products of this category.
It provides all possible tools to perform my work. They keep on updating the program to meet users' needs.
It has the best interface, and it's fast. It's easy to access through the internet anywhere and any time.
They have never let me down. I always get prompt and satisfactory service.
I like the ease of use and their support staff, who are the best. It has made work fun for me.
This program is little pricey, so it took me a year to convince the company owner to buy it.
Be truthful in expressing how much easier this software has made your life.

It's user-friendly because each step in the program, from getting the lead to finding subs and suppliers to submitting the bid, is laid out with the user in mind.
I'm able to submit bids quickly and easily. All the parties involved - the estimator, the sub contractor, the supplier, and the owner - are brought together in a well-synchronized system.
It's excellent. The technical aspect is well-integrated, the graphics enhance the product's appeal, and the ability to generate accurate material and labor prices in this system greatly increase its quality.
At first, the product seemed a challenge, but great customer service quickly shortened the learning curve and increased interest in the product.
The program is very user-friendly. The learning curve seems shorter with iSqFt professional customer service and technical support. I'm able to easily find a lead, get plans and specs for the project, get accurate material and labor prices, request bids from subs, and submit the bid all with the same product and great customer service from the vendor.
I personally have not found anything that I'm unhappy about with the product or vendor.
I've tried other products in the top ten lineup, but this software has all we need technically, along with great customer support, which makes it my company's number one.

It is almost a one-click system. There are never multiple steps necessary to see the information I need.
It totally meets our needs for locating new projects, accessing plans and specs, and receiving updates to projects reliably.
Everything about ISF is just A-1. From sales to support to problem-solving, I’ve rarely worked with a company more dedicated to a customer’s success.
Customer support is responsive, helpful, understanding, and always available.
The software is very user-friendly, and it's easy to find information regarding projects.
There’s nothing I don’t like about iSqFt. If you know how to put it to work for you, it will give you more of what we all need most: time.
Let the system work for you; use it to maximize your results
Brandy from Hill & Wilkinson General Contractors
Date: July 2013
I’ve worked in construction for almost eight years, and I know the value of a software that works and helps you do your job efficiently. As an estimator, software that lacks adequate training support but costs less can actually add up to greater expense in terms of time and money.
Fortunately, iSqFt is user-friendly, affordable, and comes with training support that is customized for us.
When I started with Hill & Wilkinson, I inherited an application that was not iSqFt, but learned that the company had used iSqFt in the past. The reason for the change was to save the company money. But the software was hard to navigate, and training support was limited to generic online sessions. I would call customer service and was told to watch a video. That was both time-consuming and hard on our team. So I reconnected with iSqFt.
Our representative, Jeff Underbrink, walked us through how to use iSqFt and answered all of our questions. We negotiated a good contract that enabled us to call or email anytime we needed training support – with a real person. What a difference!
Using iSqFt, we can set up projects, trades, and find and invite subs in half the time it took us with the other software.
Bottomline, iSqFt helps us excel at what we do. As a large general contractor in the Southwest region, we can get bids out in a timely manner and manage our projects efficiently.
It’s great to have iSqFt supporting our growth and success!
Dean from Vogel Bros. Building Co.

Vogel Bros. Building Co. has been using iSqFt for about 8 years now, as of early 2013, and it has given us an easy way to get more and better bids, improved our efficiency, and helped us communicate with our subs.
Before we signed up with iSqFt, we had trouble reaching enough subcontractor bidders to provide competitive pricing. iSqFt has let us reach way more subcontractors, and has helped us find subcontractors with specific skill sets or specialties. Just that has helped Vogel Bros. Building Co. grow and has increased the number of jobs we’ve won.
iSqFt has also given us the tools we need to do more in less time, reducing stress levels and increasing our work rate. In a tight economy, companies need to find efficiencies and take advantage of the tools that help them work smarter. iSqFt has done that for us.
Our team can now do more with less, helping us quickly communicate with our subcontractors. This communication can be one-to-one, but iSqFt also makes it easy to send messages to everyone working on a project, with just a few clicks. In fact, our project assistants appreciate the ability to quickly update addenda to subcontractors in a matter of minutes.
The bottom line is that using iSqFt in our daily work has helped us save both time and money. Prior to using iSqFt, the work that we handle now would’ve required adding an extra full-time employee, making iSqFt one of the best values around.
