McCormick Electrical Estimating Software

McCormick Systems electrical estimating program has been recognized a record 13 times by the NECA. In 2011, the estimating solution won another NECA “Showstopper” award. The software offers several different levels of programs for electrical contractors based on the size of the firm, the number of estimators that need access to the network, and the complexity of the estimating tasks.

The software is geared toward commercial, industrial and residential electrical contractors. The software also includes a database for contractors involved in Transmission and Distribution as well as low voltage, fiber optics, surveillance, HVAC controls, fire alarm and other electrical systems trades. The takeoff, estimating, bid management, and service management are all offered as best-of-breed applications, which means they can be purchased by themselves or as a package. The application for project management and Job Tracking can only be purchased as part of a larger system. All of the software also includes capabilities for, On Screen Estimating, CAD, Change Order tracking and functionality for Time and Material billing.

The company can range in size from a single contractor to a large industrial contracting firm with hundreds of employees. Additionally, the vendor does not limit the number of users that can access the system.

The software has broad integration capabilities and is able to transfer data to Sage Timberline, On Center’s On-Screen Takeoff, QuickBooks, AutoDesk, and Excel as well as several others.
