The bid management application is offered on a best-of-breed basis and allows for a considerable amount of customization of fields. For instance, in keeping track of items that you bid on a project, you are able to customize the CSI codes to your own semantics. This creates greater flexibility in generating bids as you can adapt the codes to your current naming conventions. Certifications are another field that can be customized so you are not limited to a narrow field of certifications. Users tout its speed and ease of use as the system's core advantages; projects can be set up and sent out in a fraction of the time of other methods.
Subcontractors can be invited to view specified projects and are able to access and download plans and bid documents free of charge. This means that you can give the people helping bid and complete projects the capability to access bid information without having to pay more.

We have been using Pipeline Suite since 2006 with complete satisfaction. Pipeline Suite has always been open to improvement suggestions and provides frequent system upgrades to the benefit of all users. We especially like the response tracking capabilities available. Pipeline Suite is very user-friendly and was easily implemented by our team.
On those occasions when we needed help with an issue, Pipeline's customer support was very responsive in getting the issue resolved.
I have never experienced customer service like I have with Pipeline. Every question - forget waiting 24-48hrs for a response, they answer almost immediately, certainly within 10-15 minutes. They always have an answer to my problem (and it's typically me that's causing the problem).
I can't think of one thing we'd change and I tell everyone in our industry Pipeline is the best software package we've utilized in years! I don't know how we'd get along without it.
Setting up the job info - choosing the suppliers/subcontracts, uploading the Specs, Drawings & Addenda and sending out the invitations is easy and works great! There is a link so those invited can go online and actually access the info uploaded for their use. It has made an amazing difference in time management and getting the quotes we need, when we need them.
I would highly recommend Pipeline to anyone who wants a Class A rated experience with a software package that works as promised.
