ProEst Estimating & Takeoff Software

ProEst has been developing construction estimating software for over 35 years. ProEst 2011 combines detailed cost estimating, digital takeoffs, and bid day analysis in a single solution. It is built using the latest Microsoft technology, including a SQL database and .NET development platform, and is designed using a standardized Microsoft Office look-and-feel that lessens the learning curve to speed adoption.

Key ProEst features include a comprehensive materials database, visual assemblies, and support for services like RS Means, Trade Service, and All Priser, which help increase estimate accuracy and streamline the bidding process. In addition, the ability to refine each bid, adjust markups, and run "what-if" analyses allows contractors to take advantage of project opportunities by ensuring that an estimate is both competitive and profitable. ProEst integrates with many accounting programs, including QuickBooks, Viewpoint, and ComputerEase.

In 2011, ProEst partnered with iSqFt, a leader in preconstruction management software, to incorporate digital takeoff technology into their estimating solution. iSqFt Takeoff is built into ProEst, providing the flexibility to perform digital takeoffs on-screen using electronic blueprints and a mouse or using a digitizer. The system supports most digital file types, including PDF, TIF, and AutoCAD.

A customizable SQL database structure makes ProEst a suitable estimating option for contractors of all sizes and specialties, including general contractors, heavy/highway contractors, and homebuilders.
