Pro-Est HVAC is designed specifically with the mechanical and HVAC trade in mind and places an emphasis on piping and ductwork. The estimating application contains modules for Excel integration, an updated cost database, and a historical database. The estimating application contains functionality for estimating the cost of sheet metal as well as piping.

In calculating sheet metal estimates, the software allows for the user to decide whether to include the shop labor in the estimate. The software also includes features to incorporate accessory parts, such as sealer, into the estimate. For pipe estimates, the software contains a database that prices out piping and accessories.
