ProContractorMX™ Earthwork is a solution that is functionally rich and can handle the demands of contractors that are involved in concrete, paving, earthwork/excavating, landscaping, and utility contracting. We find the software to be a flexible solution and will recommend it to businesses of any size regardless of the type of excavation they are involved in.

The Earthwork solution comes with best-of-breed packages for estimating as well as takeoff. The the software contains all the modules that one would expect and need to fulfill their earthworks needs. The software contains features for visual assemblies with three different viewing formats - grid view, section view, or 3-D view. The 3-D view is especially good for getting a realistic view of what the job site will look like once work gets started. The software also integrates with GPS machine control features for contractors that are automating their surveying processes.

Maxwell Systems made an update in March of 2011 to their ProContractorMX™ offering to improve the functionality offered to contractors working in earthworks and excavation. Notable improvements in version 2.6 were made in the categories of measurements and inventory. In version 2.6, elevation levels and contour lines can be assigned auatomtically to CAD files. Additionally, an inventory module monitors how many parts are needed and how many are on hand.
