HindSite is ideal for service companies with less than $5 million in revenue and up to 50 employees, working as either field service technicians or office administrative staff. The solution is installed on-premise and supports unlimited office users, with a monthly subscription based on the number of schedules used by the company.
HindSite was developed specifically to include field data collection. For service companies, the time and materials expended in the field is critical data, because optimizing these resources is how a business creates revenue. HindSite is focused on creating an efficient, paperless system that streamlines the entire office.
Field technicians can download work orders directly to their mobile devices, including laptops, netbooks and smartphones. HindSite provides driving directions, records any materials used, collects and automates time records and can even capture signatures and attach photos to the work orders. The field technicians can also calculate and print bills in the field.
All of this data is sent to the office, where incomplete jobs can be rescheduled and work can be invoiced using a certified Quickbooks interface. This seamless flow of data reduces administrative workload and controls labor costs, both on-site and off.

I immediately got on the Internet and started looking for a solution. I found several products but they were not very impressive and the support was poor. Then I found The HindSite Solution. I liked the story behind the company and I liked the people even more. They were professional but not stuffy. It seemed like a laid-back company yet I always got taken care of. The guys were responsive and they cared about my issues. They helped me set up my system and were there every step of the way. I can't imagine running the company without HindSite. I now have 3 full time techs and 1 part time.
I'm in the office full time (We also have a repair shop and storage yard). The techs have everything they need to do their jobs and make decisions. HindSite provides them with most of the information that I have on their jobs (office controls much of what they see) including history, contacts, phone numbers, etc. The techs collect all kinds of data (I use assessments that walk the tech through the data collections process). Once the job is done the tech syncs with the office, and as they are on their way to the next job I am using a WORD or EXCEL merge tool to either notify the customer the job is done, or send the customer an estimate on what else needs to be done. The documents are pre-filled with most of the necessary info. I just edit, price the work, and send. The HindSite Solution even exports the work orders to QuickBooks.
The HindSite Solution does so much there is no way I could tell you everything in this review. I can tell you it is an incredible and versatile tool and the guys at HindSite are the most helpful bunch of geeks around! (Kidding guys!). And if you have ever tried using new software you know good support is a must!
