I'm a Loan Officer so I needed something simple. (Loans are complex enough as it is.) Pipedrive opens right up to my pipeline in has an extremely easy click and drag interface that makes managing a pipeline simple. It even links with Zapier, I send out different email during different stages in the buying process all using pipedrive. and the Sales reports and forecasting are a freaking must.

I wish it was a bit more CRMey. (yes I made that word up.) You can't send email campaigns from it, (though you can send single emails) and the database stuff is a little shallow.

Recommendations

Pipedrive should be used in conjuction with another CRM. One for database marketing and Pipedrive for managing the pipe.

The ability to customize everything is the #1 reason I have continued to work with this product. The sales pipeline, the data input, information regarding the contact, the organization, the deal. Everything and anything can be customized to suit your needs.

I happen to be a very visual person, and being able to see all my deals, and contacts, on one screen is fantastic. I get a daily email with all of the tasks that I need to complete, and the updated Calendar view makes scheduling a breeze. Just try it, and I really doubt that you will go back to any other Sales CRM.

The GPS function when you enter an address, needs a little bit of finesse, unless you enter the city and postal code. Maybe once they update the software, and limit the addresses to a region it will be easier.

One thing to be prepared for, is that it may take some time to setup the CRM exactly to your needs and specifications. Changes can be made instantly, and sometimes you wanna go back to what you were doing before, or sometimes it takes a little bit of experimenting, but definitely not a deal breaker to be able to personalize it, and get it to the most effective CRM that you may need.

Give it a try, be patient, and the payoff will be worth the time invested in personalizing the software.

Pipedrive is very affordable and easy to use. I was able to begin outreach pretty quickly and whenever I ran into a snag, there seemed to be a video that addressed my concern. I also found that the customer service department to be responsive. It's nice to talk to a human when you're approaching a learning curve. I really found this to be a quick and easy solution. I was new to the company and there wasn't a CRM at all. Because we are a small business I wanted to be sure I wasn't overspending for a CRM that had more features than I needed.

There seems to be a disconnect between contacts and organizations, you can't export a list of companies with the contacts attached, which can be a challenge for mailings and other outreach. The "deal" structure is also a little confusing if you don't have a traditional pipeline. I am also hoping that as they develop the email side of the platform that you'll be able to see who has opened and which links they've clicked on. Right now the email platform is pretty basic, the only advantage is not having to leave the platform.

Recommendations

I would definitely play with it and try importing and exporting a few times. I found some great workarounds in their online videos, which are short, to-the-point, informative and fairly entertaining. Watch a few of the videos as you go and your loyalty and understanding of the product will increase.

Easy to use, customer service is exceptional and very fairly priced. It fits the needs of our company at this moment.

No complains so far. We had a couples of issues with the software at the beginning, but it was mostly because it was my first time using a CRM. after a few days I got the hang of it and now its is all smooth.

Give it a try. Its is free for a month. You can search for promo codes on the web and extend the trial period to 45 days.

Ease of Use, mobile app is also easy to use. I have my sales staff utilizing this product daily.. they would not use a product which is in too in depth as it takes more time and we spend too many hours on the road.

Get the whole team involved. Even having a 'seat' for a 10 person team is cheaper than other software licensing

I have tried several platforms in the past - and nothing even compares to the ease of use and customization and functionality of Pipedrive. We set it up and started working as a team in 1 afternoon. If we ever had any questions there are tons of helpful tutorials online to show you how to set things up and use them.

Pretty simple to set up and had the whole team working together in a couple hours.

You have to purchase a different seat to assign projects to different users - so you can't have "admin" and "staff" that share a log in ... but the seats are so cheap compared to other things on the market it almost doesnt matter. Having 5 seats for our company was cheaper than 1 seat on the next leading platform.

Don't over think it. Just set it up simple and quick. it is so intuitive to tweak along the way - just start adding leads and data and work with it as you go.

This platform isnt necessarily built for HUGE teams (meaning 100's of sales people and 1000's of contacts). I feel like it works better for smaller teams - but the upgrade capability is there if you need it.

Project statistics helps with custom reports and the charts. By this reporting, we can see all of the projects data in 1 screen and can see where we stand with each project. It is a kind of one page project management report. it helps us a lot with management reporting.

pipedrive brings value in closing deals with your customers. All data can be exported in CSV format easily using its export function. It helps keeping records of customers and their projects.

Sometime there are internal ID's with exported CSV files and we have to fix it manually. if this can be fixed, would be great.

Pipedrive recently launched new statistics which includes the charts as well. It helps us a lot with the reporting. We can generate custom reports based upon a number of filters available in the new statistics area.

The support team is knowledgeable and always receptive to feedback. I actually get the feeling that they both care about me as their customer and want to make their own product better.

Pipedrive is very simple, organized and actually helps our team focus. It's automated integration and features are great. We Have actually started using it as a PM tool even though it's not really meant for that purpose. Hopefully stains point they'll offer PM software that integrates with this CRM platform.

The contacts integration with Google are a double-edged sword. They can get a tad messy. Hopefully they will improve this aspect as their product matures.
