Zoho offers a web-based customer relationship management (CRM) solution tailored to the needs of small and midsized businesses. Its interface includes CRM tools such as sales and marketing automation, customer support and help desk, product configuration and reporting and customer analytics.

Zoho CRM offers multichannel support, allowing businesses to connect with their customers via email, live chat, phone and through social media. The gamification feature allows businesses to gamify their sales process and reward employees who achieve their targets. The mobile edition gives users instant access to sales activities and customer info on iPad, iPhone and Android devices.

Zoho CRM's Blueprint helps in automating sales process by defining workflows and macros for regular activities. Zoho can integrate with several existing software solutions, including Google Docs, Microsoft Office and Sharepoint. It also offers over 25 add-on applications designed for specialized business, collaboration and productivity needs.

Zoho can be subscribed on a per user per month basis. Users can subscribe to 15 days free trial period for feature evaluation.

It is free to use, which is helpful for some organizations or non-profits. It also is easy to see where things are.

Cons

It's really difficult to navigate contacts. For some reason, you can't group contacts into multiple groups. You can only put one contact in one group. And you have to click on the contact to see the notes about the contact.

Zoho CRM is a good product. It's easy-to-use, powerful, customizable, and one of the better CRMs on the market for a small business. The analytics and reporting is pretty good, and it really simplifies managing pipeline.

Cons

Zoho CRM is priced so low because they have an 'ecosystem' strategy. Essentially, sell you the CRM, and as your business grows, you'll buy their other solutions as well (campaigns, chat, etc). The problem is, Zoho Campaigns is just plain terrible. Saying that Zoho does marketing automation is beyond a stretch. I understand this is a review of Zoho CRM, but for a business that needs lead generation (i.e. almost all of them), this is a big issue to consider. There are very few marketing automation platforms that integrate with Zoho.

Don't use them. Read the customer reviews, not the 'editorial reviews' that I read. They all read the same. Tech support is a disaster!

Pros

It does everything you would expect of a CRM. All the features you will end up needing are locked in the enterprise version, but that is industry standard...

Cons

Their tech support is almost non existent! It is infuriating. Waiting over a week for their developers to fix an issue that they themselves caused. Unfortunately for me the customer, the error has a catastrophic effect on my entire business.. But no one at Zoho seems to want to talk to me about it...

Pros

Its a straight forward, easy to use CRM tool. It's Sales and Marketing functionalities are efficient, and the platform itself can be extended to cater other business requirements.

Cons

Lacks some of the important features such as validation rules. Some of it's WF automation requires editing then saving before it triggers.

ZOHO Is VERY Customizable. The mobile app is beautiful. The organization is tidy, there is access to everything, and it is equally quick to navigate. It is easy to do all the basic features, and many advanced features. The mobile app won’t totally replace the dashboard but will allow a highly mobile salesperson to check in at the office less often. Finally, the app has enough flair to not be mind-numbing, but not so much as to be distracting. I found it to be a very solid extension of an office computer.

Cons

Not the best User Interface but the customer service is great. The mobile app has a solid set of features and the design is pretty intuitive. While the mobile app doesn’t give you access to the full spectrum of features you’d find on the website, it’s still very useful. There are a few other mobile – related issues that users feel Zoho should address, such as app crashes and adding additional email features.

Just what I needed for my small business.

Zoho was a good choice for me. I don't have time to spend hours training on a new software and to spend time on the phone with customer service folks. I wanted simple and easy and that's what Zoho is. That said, I can see Zoho has a lot more features than I need right now, so I feel comfortable I can grow into Zoho without having to go to another software.

Pros

When I called customer service they were very helpful. Great training videos, worth viewing before starting to use the product. I like the fact that someone at Zoho reached out to me a couple of times after I purchased the product. Great customer service and attention to customers! I was very impressed, it made me feel like a person, not just another sale.

Cons

Zoho is generally easy to use, with a few exceptions. To be fair to Zoho I had unreasonable expectations. I wanted to jump into Zoho without having to call customer service. The good news is I've only had to call them a couple of time and both times they were easy to get a hold of and quickly answered my questions.

Overall I have enjoyed using Zoho CRM for my small business, but it did take a while to get use to the number of features and tools available. At times, it could be a little overwhelming, but once I found and learned the core functions that I would need for my business, using Zoho became much more enjoyable.

Pros

The tools in Zoho CRM all function well and are simple and intuitive to pick up.

Cons

The design and layout of the CRM often looks a little messy and rushed. Not always the cleanest looking.

Zoho is continually improving their platform. I have a three person sales team, and the ease of use makes this a great solution for our company. After trying other platforms, Zoho CRM was the most cost effective for the value they provide.

Been using Zoho CRM for 3 months, have 10 users. Outlook and Word integration are not good. No contact grouping capability. No integration with our VoIP phone system and other third part software that we use. Support is lousy - nearly impossible to get a knowledgeable person on the phone. Had i known that would be the case i woudl not have purchased Zoho. We have several unresolved problems. There are several things we don't have working yet, things that were easy with our previous system (ACT!). So far not happy.

Even contacting senior zoho staff in the US didn't fix my problems. If you are happy to wait for a week for people to get back to you (if at all ) then this is the product for you

I did not have a good experience mainly due to support issues regarding help getting started with importing a large file for campaign use.

Likes Least

The customer service was not good with my experience. They would pass the buck to different departments. I was promised call backs and did not get any until I gave them a less than desirable rating on a survey they emailed me. Once contacted the process was extremely counter productive.

Recommendations

I have used many different CRM applications before trying Zoho. I must say that CRM is one of the best ones for recruiter that I would recommend you to try.

Pros

Very helpful, very trustworthy, easy to use. Customer support is also great even when I used a free version.

Cons

It's sometimes the system doesn't understand the pdf document format when I parse a CV into it. This needs to be fixed.

Pros

We recently set up Zoho CRM because the fremium CRM product we were using wasn't sufficient enough to grow with our company. We've been impressed with the features and flexibility in the CRM for the price point. It has filled our needs well. The feature I appreciate the most is the ability to email directly from the CRM and track if the emails are delivered, opened, etc.

Cons

The software appears to allow for a lot of customization, but there are some questions as to how to do that on our end. CRMs have to contain a lot of information, but because many businesses are different, there are sections of the CRM that contain fields that don't apply to our company and we've yet to customize those sections to make it as efficient as possible for us... however, I'm sure with some time we can figure out how to tailor the platform to our needs.

Zoho is a great value option! On all their products...
However, I CANNOT stand their 90s style of interface.

I reaslise I am not a mass market consumer, but there are just better SAAS options for me out there. I will pay a little more not to poke my eyes out everytime I need to use one of Zoho offerings.

The company is stable, they will not be sold out from under you (good work to Zoho for sure!)

That you need to program the CRM yourself, doesn't seem automated (or maybe I'm just not working it out...)

Very well integrated CRM. The free version offers best value for money in the market.

Pros

It has very broad functionality, starting from basics (contacts, deal and lead management) and extending to such advanced features as web forms, task automation, website traffic analyzing and etc.

Cons

The mail integration is only available at the professional pricing model. It also has very weak sales person orientated mail (both inbound and outbound) interface that is still working in beta mode.

We use Zoho CRM to intake leads, set up and manage all of our private events for two companies. It gives our company one place to keep all of this data and keeps us from getting our wires crossed. We have found it easy to use.

Pros

We can create templates for events easily and with great precision. It keeps us from messing things up by accident. Everyone on our team has been able to learn how to use the CRM quickly and effectively.

Cons

We use Zoho for two companies, and I wish that I could move back and forth between them without logging in and out each time. A toggle would be great!

We use the enterprise edition and we like how we are able to customize the CRM to meet our needs without having to use an outside consultant or high cost programmers.

Cons

Although it easy to customize the automation tools could be improved. In some cases it is easier to do tasks using the API then the custom functions that are written in Zoho's DSL.

Its a CRM. It does what we need it to do most of the time. Look I am reasonable, no CRM is going to 100% meet your needs. They all have their limitation. Overall it does what we need it to do most of the time which is what you expect from a CRM.

Cons

Whenever something goes wrong on their end, which has happened a number of times now, its almost like they don't employ any developers at all. Actual quote "You have to wait until 11am ISD as we have no developers here to assist until then". What sort of multinational SAAS provider has NO developers available? Then at 11am ISD, it will be maximum 4 hours, ok things take time to fix, I am reasonable. 5 hours later the manager is "out of her office" and EVERY other manager in the building is 'on the phone currently'. Meanwhile I have been waiting for over a week for their developers to fix a 'global error' whilst my staff are sitting at home wondering why their pay advice's haven't been sent, or if they are getting paid at all this week...
No one at Zoho wants to talk to me. The best they can offer is "I will have someone email you once the situation is resolved". Why can't they just be honest/real? Why can't they just do what we the consumers pay them generously to do??

We never used Zoho CRM . In case if we have future requirement
we w'll contact to zoho team. Now I w'll extend to zohodesk trial version because of that reason , I have choose zohodesk CRM review.

Pros

However , zohodesk is suitable for our company .Try to implement on free trial 3 support-mails .

Cons

Present, we don't have any negative feedback.

What I love about the software is each module provides activities which you can track. This enables to be consistently updated. In addition, the system enables me to generate using built in reports.
