Zoho offers a web-based customer relationship management (CRM) solution tailored to the needs of small and midsized businesses. Its interface includes CRM tools such as sales and marketing automation, customer support and help desk, product configuration and reporting and customer analytics.

Zoho CRM offers multichannel support, allowing businesses to connect with their customers via email, live chat, phone and through social media. The gamification feature allows businesses to gamify their sales process and reward employees who achieve their targets. The mobile edition gives users instant access to sales activities and customer info on iPad, iPhone and Android devices.

Zoho CRM's Blueprint helps in automating sales process by defining workflows and macros for regular activities. Zoho can integrate with several existing software solutions, including Google Docs, Microsoft Office and Sharepoint. It also offers over 25 add-on applications designed for specialized business, collaboration and productivity needs.

Zoho can be subscribed on a per user per month basis. Users can subscribe to 15 days free trial period for feature evaluation.

Pros

ZOHO Is VERY Customizable. The mobile app is beautiful. The organization is tidy, there is access to everything, and it is equally quick to navigate. It is easy to do all the basic features, and many advanced features. The mobile app won’t totally replace the dashboard but will allow a highly mobile salesperson to check in at the office less often. Finally, the app has enough flair to not be mind-numbing, but not so much as to be distracting. I found it to be a very solid extension of an office computer.

Cons

Not the best User Interface but the customer service is great. The mobile app has a solid set of features and the design is pretty intuitive. While the mobile app doesn’t give you access to the full spectrum of features you’d find on the website, it’s still very useful. There are a few other mobile – related issues that users feel Zoho should address, such as app crashes and adding additional email features.

Just what I needed for my small business.

Zoho was a good choice for me. I don't have time to spend hours training on a new software and to spend time on the phone with customer service folks. I wanted simple and easy and that's what Zoho is. That said, I can see Zoho has a lot more features than I need right now, so I feel comfortable I can grow into Zoho without having to go to another software.

Pros

When I called customer service they were very helpful. Great training videos, worth viewing before starting to use the product. I like the fact that someone at Zoho reached out to me a couple of times after I purchased the product. Great customer service and attention to customers! I was very impressed, it made me feel like a person, not just another sale.

Cons

Zoho is generally easy to use, with a few exceptions. To be fair to Zoho I had unreasonable expectations. I wanted to jump into Zoho without having to call customer service. The good news is I've only had to call them a couple of time and both times they were easy to get a hold of and quickly answered my questions.

Overall I have enjoyed using Zoho CRM for my small business, but it did take a while to get use to the number of features and tools available. At times, it could be a little overwhelming, but once I found and learned the core functions that I would need for my business, using Zoho became much more enjoyable.

Pros

The tools in Zoho CRM all function well and are simple and intuitive to pick up.

Cons

The design and layout of the CRM often looks a little messy and rushed. Not always the cleanest looking.

Great solution for a small business company

Zoho is continually improving their platform. I have a three person sales team, and the ease of use makes this a great solution for our company. After trying other platforms, Zoho CRM was the most cost effective for the value they provide.
The additions and changes they make help the platform become more intuitive and streamlined.

If your company is on a budget but in need of a CRM solution, Zoho is a great answer to that. Being in the cloud is my favorite as I only have to log in from whatever computer or device I'm using to log in and update.

Zoho didn't integrate well with the systems we used so we ended up copying and pasting a bunch of stuff manually, which was exhausting. To me, Zoho seemed like a glorified note-taking system.

Been using Zoho CRM for 3 months, have 10 users. Outlook and Word integration are not good. No contact grouping capability. No integration with our VoIP phone system and other third part software that we use. Support is lousy - nearly impossible to get a knowledgeable person on the phone. Had i known that would be the case i woudl not have purchased Zoho. We have several unresolved problems. There are several things we don't have working yet, things that were easy with our previous system (ACT!). So far not happy.

This is a fairly good product technically but the support will cost you an enormous amount of time

Even contacting senior zoho staff in the US didn't fix my problems. If you are happy to wait for a week for people to get back to you (if at all ) then this is the product for you

Move on! Quickly! Their support is horrendous. Each person tells you something different about set up/ what the product can and cant do

I did not have a good experience mainly due to support issues regarding help getting started with importing a large file for campaign use.

The customer service was not good with my experience. They would pass the buck to different departments. I was promised call backs and did not get any until I gave them a less than desirable rating on a survey they emailed me. Once contacted the process was extremely counter productive.

If support from a CRM company is important to you. This one is NOT the company you want!

I can easily customize the screen views and the information that I want to capture. For the most part I can make this work for my needs.

I can't create groups in my leads or accounts. When I attend an event and start working a small list or about 10-15 leads that are specific to my sales process. I need to see just that list. So I found it easier to use an excel spreadsheet instead which makes it hard to track next steps. But it is easier to look at. Can you help me with this? I found a work around by creating a new module for my short list of leads but it doesn't allow me to convert to an account or move.

I would love to see you add a contact card view ... like a business card view that shows the picture larger. Needs a better way to look at your contacts in a small group or one at a time.

Recommendations

Get your hands on it and use it. They try other CRM programs. You will find that this one is the best.

Either you are small or big business, you will find what you need in it. I have been using it for almost a year now and the best part is I never used any CRM's before this and had no training previously because I used it when I started my own smalls business. I would recommend it to anyone. Even better try it on your own.

It was easy to set up tasks and get reminders. This is important for staying on track.

The flow of leads was strange. One ought to be able to convert a lead to a prospect and then convert a prospect to a contract, or whatever you call it. It's customizable so we might have called them different things. Basically, you should be able to let the thing flow smoothly through but since it wasn't set up that way, you would end up with people (or addresses) under both lead AND prospect or prospect AND contract, and you'd end up with duplicates. Additionally, the automated contact system is so important but it was difficult to set up and there were no good pre-written plans.

Recommendations

Hard to say. You usually don't notice flaws until you're trying to use it. It's so time consuming to get all your contacts in the system in the first place that even a free trial period can be troublesome if you find you don't like the system but I'd say a free trail is the very least you ought to make sure the system has.

I really like the prices Zoho has to offer, and although the different components all come at separate costs - even all added together aren't too bad when compared to similar software options.

Zoho in general offers a suite of apps that would be great if they all worked together, and weren't so difficult to customize. It may just be me, but setting up preferences and work flows is painful. I've gone through demos, and asked for help from customer support and it all looks sort of simple until I tried to apply it to our company and what we need the software to do. We used Recruit, Books, Email, and CRM and none of the modules worked together. We had to enter everything into each module separately. We couldn't convert an applicant into an employee, or a lead in CRM into a client in Books. It is just frustrating because it seems like a great idea, until it isn't.

Recommendations

Take into consideration that although the cost may be appealing, you may have to pay Zoho to configure it.
