DentiMax Software


 

DentiMax offers a complete digital sensor and practice management software with integrated ONC-ACB certified electronic health recording system capabilities for dental clinics. The software can be installed locally on any Window-based device or hosted in the cloud as a SaaS application. The combined suite offers features such as insurance and claim management, patient billing, period charting, patient scheduling and auto clinical notes.

With DentiMax practice management system, dentists and their staff can send X-rays, medical bills, prescriptions and other insurance attachments electronically to patients. The clinical note builder allows dentists to create and record clinical notes. Clinics can use DentiMax's imaging tool or integrate their existing digital sensors to generate digital x-rays of the tooth. DentiMax supports over 25 third-party sensors including Eaglesoft, Dentrix and Softdent.

DentiMax also features the ability to track employee time, verify patient insurance online, schedule appointments, process credit card payments, maintain accounting ledger, electronically store documents, electronically send prescriptions and appointment reminders.

Pros

It is very user friendly and convenient, demos were very educational and helpful. If you go on youtube, there are a few videos that might answer any question you may have regarding the software. If you need help via phone, you can be certain that they will get back to you that same day. The user guide that they provide you upon purchase is extremely detailed and helpful as well.

Cons

Other than a few glitches here and there, which I have found dentimax has fixed, I don't think that there are any cons that we have experienced with this software.

Training is great. Customer Service is great. DentiMax is the BEST!

Pros

Dentimax is easy to use and train. When we have new staff, we are able to get them up and going almost immediately. We can print the reports we need and want as well as schedule patients and treatment plan with ease. The printouts are patient friendly and designed in such a way so that they understand them without any problems. We customized several things within the program to meet our specific needs without any problems. Any suggestions for updates are always well received and usually included on the next update. I can resource the manual with ease and usually find my solution quickly.

Cons

No cons really. If we can't figure something out, the answer is just a phone call away! There has been a time or two we were on hold for a bit longer but have never found that to be much of a problem.

Pros

If you have any fears about the user friendliness of a dental management software, those fears will disappered with the use of Dentimax. It is a fully functioning dental management software with tons of time saving qualities. And in the dental office, time saving equals higher profits.

Cons

I like the productivity tracking and use that daily. I also really like the DentiMax Imaging program and Sensors. They are super clear and easy to diagnose from.

Cons

It could use a few more icons for the charting screen possibly. I am also considering the online version of DentiMax because I'm not super confident in my current LAN and backup system.

We've been using DentiMax in our office for just over four years. Previous to using DentiMax, we used Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and Computer Age software and there's absolutely no comparison in the ease of use in DentiMax. The online training was amazing and the software is so intuitive, we felt like pros within a few days. DentiMax is comprehensive, robust, and meets the needs of our practice. When we've had a question or problem, the tech support and training departments have been extremely easy to work with and are quick to find resolutions for us. We'll be lifetime users of DentiMax.

A couple of glitches starting out but fabulous customer support getting this product set up for our office. The product is affordable and there were no surprise fees popping up after the contract was signed as with another company I previously signed on with. Very happy with Dentimax :)

While I don't believe a Five Star Dental software program currently exists, as they all have different strengths and weaknesses. I do believe that Dentimax is trying to reach that 5-star mark. I have previously used Dentrix and Eaglesoft and am now using Dentimax. It is very user-friendly and has many features that are helpful with managing a paperless office. From scheduling to treatment planning and charting to the collection, Dentimax is aiming to improve each aspect, and trying to make it better and more user-friendly.

Pros

Clinical, charting, imaging, and practice management integration. Cost effective practice management system.

Cons

Customer IT support can be slow and ineffective, but they find a way to make sure we are taken care of as a customer.

Digital Charting.

Pros

Digital Charting capability. scheduling, electronic claim submission, Prescription templates ready for printing and signing. Patient search is great.

Cons

Information needed are placed on the wrong windows. example for existing appointments you would need to open up another window ( patient Info) to see it. Others have it available in the Schedule window. Billing problems wherein insurances need to know if its an initial or prior placement. Dental Assitant would have to open up the procedure the planned posted in the chart window and enter this info themselves while with the patient mouth opened up for exam. Inconvenient. This info should be handled by the Billing Dept. while in process of pre-authorizing the procedure. Dentist and assistants need not complicate their jobs with this process of entering while in process of examining a patient. Somehow whoever designed this software either have no idea how a dental office works. and where the info should be placed for a readily streamlining of work. Lastly the insurance info should be readily be associated with a ledger. Instead for this you would again have to open the patient info window just to get this info. At least a window or tab on same window would have streamlined the process of billing. Too many windows to open just to work or get the needed info.

If considering this software, I suggest you get the DEMO disk, as I did more than ten years ago. At the low pricepoint I was somewhat skeptical as to how good it could really be. Well after perviewing the DEMO I purchased the program and have not looked back. It does everything I need and more. I was an early EASY DENTAL user, and just got tired of the spiralling support costs. I also used TDOCS which was a very good program, but looked at the Dentimax Demo, and at the price decided to go for it. Like all good, well supported software companies, Dentimax has continued to improve their product. They are listening to the users! And speaking of support, the support I have received has always been prompt, courteous and they work with you until the issue is addressed and fixed, not that there have been very many. I recently upgraded to the latest version and they were great to transfer data, install the system, and included a thirty day free support should any issues arise. I know I gave across the board 5 Stars, but I have been that satisfied.

The scheduling section of the program is very powerful allowing the user to customize it to the preferences of the practice. It interfaces easily with NEA and e claim clearinghouses. DentiMax is easy to use and affordable. DentiMax x-ray works well with DentiMax Practice Management Software. The x-ray sensors are designed well with excellent x-ray definition. The software trainer (Alicia) is outstanding! The two day training was packed with helpful hints on the features and practical use. It was a smooth transition in my office. DentiMax is the third software package I have used and by far is superior. Tech support is excellent and easy to work with.
So far, my experience has only been positive. The product is working smoothly for the dentist and front desk.
DentiMax's website is pretty detailed and sales rep helpful. It is a great buy for the price!
