PandaDoc is a cloud-based electronic signature solution that allows users to make documents legally binding. The solution can also be accessed through mobile apps available for Android and iOS devices. PandaDoc is compliant with UETA and Federal ESIGN Act.

PandaDoc has built-in document templates that allow users to send the same document to multiple people, customizing the document for each person. The solution also lets users brand their documents. Within each template, a specific role can be set with interactive fields by users for the signers. 

PandaDoc maintains a full log of all transactions, ensuring a high level of security. Details including IP addresses, timestamps and user information are captured in the log details. PandaDoc provides API access in the enterprise edition which allows users to integrate their existing systems to build a digital document workflow.

Pros

Intuitive and very easy to learn. Also a little fun to drag the fields around. Makes it so much easier to get signatures, compared to using pen and paper!

Cons

If you start a document and send it out with the wrong email/name somewhere, that person/email becomes permanently associated with the document. Would be helpful if that wasn't a thing, but it's also extremely easy to start a new one.

Really professional looking program. I can customize my documents to whatever I need them to be. Very easy to manage sending and receiving signatures to and from our clients. Completely replaced the back and forth and trying to get signatures on contracts via fax. I can see when the recipient has opened the document or if they have any questions or concerns.

Cons

Sometimes it kicks out the clients when they are trying to submit the signatures. Also can be a little tough to set up new documents from scratch if you've never used the program before.

It has given me the professional face on my proposals that I have wanted/needed and found missing on every other proposal software tried - it also allows me to create and mix and match modules quickly for professional yet personal proposals. Lastly, the ability to send a personalized video is killer. I close about 90% off all proposals that I send with a video.

Pros

What I love most about this software is how easy it is to create gorgeous proposals that convert like crazy. Also, the ability to tie in esignature with payment seamlessly is incredible (both through CC and ACH).

Cons

I wish that the wysiwyg editor included CSS and other style elements to create an even more beautiful proposal (think parallax).

After years and years of hundreds of contracts and proposals being built, revised, lost, and finally looked at using Word Processing applications I found PandaDoc. Even though there are other competitors on the market my immediate positive impression came by watching a webinar hosted by Jon Ferrara (Creator of GoldMine CRM during the 1970's and now Nimble Social CRM) and Mikita Mikado, CEO of PandaDoc. What they both shared with me about how Nimble, (The CRM that I use for all of my daily work between prospects and customers) fully integrates with PandaDoc during the creation process of the proposals and contracts. That makes personalizing the document in perfect sync with the other options of laying in videos, having pricing tables, creating a library of many important parts of any proposal in various copy and focus. Another very positive aspect of PandaDoc is the ability to know how the reception of the proposal or contract is being handled and seen by those who receive the online digital document and the ability to link payment options through Stripe.

Cons

It is very interesting to consider what can be considered one or more of the Cons of the current application as of this writing. It is good that GetApp gives the reviewer the opportunity to come back and update our reviews. My only current improvement that I would like to see that we can add into a document template is audio files such as recorded podcasts, or a thank you message to the receiver of the proposal or contact. Videos are able to be added and that is an important factor in what viewers are wanting as part of their online digital world experience.

Able to efficiently send a contract to many clients.

Pros

Makes it very efficient to send proposals with required entry fields. Once the template is created, it is fast and easy to send to various clients.

Cons

Customer service was slim to non-existent. They have a "chat" function on their website but it's not really a chat. You enter a question and it shows that the representative has been inactive for 20 minutes. I had to request someone call me to walk me through how to use the program.

Docusign. Being able to send this across the nation and get a legal signature and response to a contract or proposal anytime.

Pros

Great functionality and different options. Great flexibility. Love the content library. Love love love the integration with Hubspot (can you now make an invoice system that does the same).

Cons

Customer support. I want to call someone instantly if I have a major problem. Its complicated by nature. I do like the videos, but I do want to have an account manager that I call for help.

Speed, you get more proposals out quicker!

Pros

Digital signature ability is the best and being able to reuse our templates quickly. We're able to switch out our templates fast once we got them created.

Cons

PDF download gets distorted. Sometimes, it's tough to download as a pdf and make sure the proposal isn't distorted at all.

PandaDoc gave us a great tool to create sales quotes that were custom to our business. It was great to have the option to brand our documents. as well. The mobile app is very easy to use and tracking quotes has been very valuable. Overall, very happy with this platform.

Cons

The integration with Insightly could be a little better. The document name does not transfer to Insightly. All are posted with the generic template name. PandaDoc could also provide better a better search engine. I would like to search by the name of the person it was sent to or their email address. I would also like to see it use our business email server for all sent emails. Sometimes the PandaDoc email ends up in the SPAM folder.

Such an enormous time saver - well worth the money!

Pros

So many pre-populated templates to choose from - takes all of the guesswork out of what to put in say, a social media marketing proposal, or what details should be included in a web design proposal. It saves SO much time not having to go through and write these; we just personalize each one to each client and we're done!

Cons

If we have PandaDoc open for awhile in our browser, it tends to hand and slow up our machines; a few months ago, it actually kept crashing our computers, but that seems to be resolved for the most part now.

Quoting is very painful Have given up on trying to use price list/catalogue feature as the workflow is too cumbersome. We have reduced user account as a result as it too difficult for our small salesforce to use effectively. We have provided a youtube screencast with suggested improvements previously. .. That was quite a while ago not seen any changes since.
