Warehouse management is available, and when retail locations run low on inventory items, warehouses can be automatically notified. Sales reports are also automatically generated.

Magstar Total Retail allows customers to order online and pick up in-store, call ahead to have items prepared for them or place orders for delivery from within the store itself. Users also have access to a customer database, where they can create customer profiles and view customer history.

Magstar Total Retail offers applications for point of sale (POS) and store management, warehouse and supply chain management, customer relationship management (CRM) and business intelligence and analytics.

Magstar Total Retail is priced on a per register basis, plus the cost of optional add-on modules. Customer support is offered 24/7. A mobile app is available for Windows phones.
