Contractor Essentials is a field service software solution that can be deployed on-premise. Key features include accounting and payroll applications, contact management, inventory management, scheduling and dispatch and work order management. GPS tracking is also available through the Contractor Essentials interface with NexTraq.
Contractor Essentials includes a service manager module where users can enter, schedule and track all service calls, appointments and maintenance contracts. In this module, users can also email work orders to technicians in the field.
With its mobile app, EssentialsPro Mobile, technicians can view jobs scheduled as well as provide dispatching and remote access for service technicians, installers and salespeople. They can drill down to view customer and site information, among other things. Jobs, customers, sites and equipment can be entered from the field.
Modules are also available for job costing and estimating, union reports, bar coding, customer relationship management (CRM) and productivity tracking.
Contractor Essentials is compatible with Windows systems. EssentialsPro Mobile offers mobile apps for Android and iOS. This system is designed for small to medium-sized contracting companies, specifically those in the HVAC, sheet metal, electrical, plumbing, roofing, fire prevention and general contracting industries.
