Tradify is a cloud-based field service solution suitable for small trade and service-based businesses. Key features included job tracking and invoice management.

Tradify has real-time job status tracking and enables users to schedule and dispatch employees. Users can view a complete overview of the workload and organize jobs by priority. Tradify can generate quotes and invoices using customizable templates for different jobs or clients. Up to date supplier price lists can be imported so that quoted prices are accurate.

Tradify is available for purchase on a per user per month basis. A mobile app is available for Android and iOS. Tradify offers integration with accounting systems such as Xero and MYOB.

Easy to use, makes schedule changes on the go very easy. Well built mobile application that has most of the functions of the full website

Cons

Can load invoices from wholesalers directly onto job so have to do it manually, very time consuming when doing large invoices

I really like the UI on the desktop. The features they offer for the money. The job costing and tasks feature. There is much thought put into the software. Very friendly support staff.

Cons

They should clean up the UI for mobile phones. Make it easier to reaschdule a job from the schudeler on the phone.

Better tracking of costs to time and jobs. Very easy to use the scheduler to assign jobs and see where everyone is at on any given day

Pros

The software is easy to manage and the mobile app is great for the onsite employees. The month end reports are very easy to generate and review

Cons

There is a bit of trial and error when it comes to setting up jobs and linking Tradify to accounting software

Pros

Importing purchase orders from your email strait to Tradify via mobile app then you can either create a job there and then or just attach it to a job if already created

Cons

Mobile app could be a bit faster but still does the job. Purchase orders after sent I would like to see that there is a file attached

I was finding myself spending too much time entering the same information into different spreadsheets, documents etc. I can now create a professional looking quote much easier, track quotes, transfer them to jobs, which I can assign to employees, track their time/materials better, then transfer that to a professional looking invoice easily. I love Tradify, and the customer support is great! They look for feedback to improve the product. Very satisfied and would/have recommend product to other colleagues.

Pros

Simple to use, but yet the abilities are complex. It save s alot of time, and money, while keeping things organized.

Cons

Not much. I don't like that the accounting side doesn't really accomodate with the 2 popular Canadian Accounting software platforms (Sage/Simply Accounting, Quick books). Seems more Australia/New Zealand Based) Naturally.
I will create a small list of features I would like to see in the software and send to you.

Advice to Others

I did the trial run of this software at the same time I tried the "Quotient Software" and I like Tradify much better, but there were a few features of Quotient I really wished Tradify had which would make it totally Dominent to the competition.
1) Quotient allowed you to add a picture to inventory items. (not a huge deal, but it was nice)
2) Quotient also had a interactive feature when you sent a quote, where the client could ask questions, and it was a chat window style within that customer/quote. (again, not a huge deal, but I liked that feature)
3) Quotient had a feature that told you if the quote had been opened and viewed, and how many times.
4) Quotient had an acceptance form attached to the quote where the client could accept the quote at that time and return it with comments/questions regarding install attached.

When choosing software we had to keep in mind that not everyone is apt at using computers so the need for easy software was #1. We chose Tradify for it's simple yet power GUI. Our employees have no problems jumping in and the questions are easy to answer.

I've looked at so many similar kinds of apps it's ridiculous. I've passed on so many for so many different reasons. Tradify was the one that made me stop looking.
With the two week trial I was able to see that it had every feature I needed, and the easy setup and continual use is excellent.
I'm a small business with only myself in the business, but even I can see how beneficial it is to a team for tracking time, expenses etc.
The best thing about it is the ease and speed of being able to add a new job, add notes/costs/times/details and then turning the costs into invoices so easily.

Fantastic app, well done Tradify!

Pros

Quick set up and recording of times, costs, meetings etc.
Tradify on a desktop browser looks great too. Clean layout and easy to navigate.

Cons

I think the iOS app needs a bit more work.
Yes it's functional, but design wise I think it could be better.
Everything looks enlarged and blown up on the app, not particularly pretty

Advice to Others

Invoices and quotes etc could allow for some more customisation in their appearance.
I'm using Tradify for my graphic design business. I know that's not really the purpose of Tradify, but for me appearance means a lot

I've reduced my invoicing time and shortened my payment cycle. Any small business that is not using an app based job tracking and invoicing package is wasting their time. Tradify is a cheap off the shelf package that streamlines the admin side of my business.

This has made a massive difference to running my small 4 man business. Money comes in faster, Information on each job is there, Ideal for one or more staff. We use the phone app on the road and at night I check the information, do the invoicing. Took no time to change for my old on line job system. I have sub contractors that use a paper based system and they are always later with wrong information.
Thinking about and online job system.

Tradify allows all Office Staff and Technicians to be informed and kept up to date with jobs requiring attention, quotes that have been processed and links with our Accounting Software for book keeping records. Tradify has become an integral part of our business operations and has allowed our business to move into and maintain up to date technology for our customers and management.

So far our experience with Tradify has been positive. We run a small plumbing company and use this app to track our jobs from start to finish. It links up with our accounting system which is great. When we have provided feedback to Tradify on improvements, they have always responded and most of these have been included in the latest software update. It's good to know they are constantly looking to improve the software for the end users (us). When ever we have had a question regarding how to do something in Tradify (which isn't often, as it is very user friendly), their customer service has responded in a very timely manner.

- not being able to select multiple status' to view jobs - currently you can only select one status at a time to view

Over the past month I have had the pleasure of using tradify to bundle all my needs for my electrical business into one easy to use app. I have seen and used other apps like tradify but no where near up to the same level in both with the app and support from tradify answering all my questions with an accurate and prompt answer. With the follow up and double checking on my self as the client I feel valuable.

We have been using this for nearly a year now and are still blown away by it, we looked for years for a suitable programme that was easy for our staff to use but yet provided managment with the tools needed to run effectively and efficiently, love the fact it can intergrate with MYOB, can't speak highly enough of this software it's just great.

As our business started to expand, I started looking into cloud-based job management software to replace the Excel spreadsheets.
Out of all options, Tradify appealed the most and we decided to give it a go (free trial).
Even though setting up the software (and using it) is pretty simple, whenever we had any issues, the support stuff have been really helpful.
After using it for nearly 6 months I wouldn't look back and wouldn't consider shifting over to different software. Very happy!

Tradify has saved me heaps of time and allowed me to do invoicing and quotes on my phone whilst on site.
The only things i would like it to do better would be if it would work offline and also if the scheduler was able to be shared with google calendar

Tradify has made running a small business an ease, with its quick and easy interface to its powerful job tracking and quoting system, it makes keeping track of all things business a breeze.

The addition of the phone and tablet apps is fantastic, with only one small recommendation regarding offline support for when you have no wifi or phone signal. (The great customer support have advised me they are looking into this in the near future)

All round just a great piece of software, would highly recommend.

We started using the app after my boss saw it on facebook, it has made a huge difference in scheduling and managing staff, would easily recommend this to any trade that wants to save time.

Cons

needs a equipment register, but it is something that I recommended a while and I think they will eventually add.

Don't let the busy Dashboard freak you out, it is easy to understand and vital to the smooth running of your business.
