Fleetmatics REVEAL is a web-based fleet management platform suitable for small and mid-sized companies. Users can view all drivers on a map, and automatically detect behavior such as harsh braking, quick starts, hard corning, and other vehicle misuse; it will even send real-time push alerts to notify dispatchers and supervisors of dangerous driver behavior. By providing a dynamic map view of drivers, dispatchers are able to quote accurate arrival times to customers.
A native app for iOS and Android allows drivers to track their own performance using a smartphone or mobile device. Once drivers log in, they can view nearby company vehicles and receive their assignment. When they get too far from a vehicle, the app will prompt them to confirm that they're still using it. The Today view shows them what stops are scheduled as well as a scorecard to see how they compare with other drivers using metrics such as number of stops, idling, and speeding. Dispatchers can update stops in real-time; the app also provides turn-by-turn navigation through Google maps.

We have been using for Fleetmatics for a year. It has converted us from running our business and specifically dispatching like bats. Now we can provide accurate ETAs, see if our mechanics made wrong turns and see that the time they state that they are at a location is what reality is.
It strips away the veil of our mechanics in the field guesstimating how far they are from their destination, how long they feel they have been at their destination/job site and if they are taking side trips on the company clock.
We can manage the preventative maintenance of our fleet and see how many miles each vehicle has traveled.
It does cost nearly monthly, but the value you get added for your customers and dispatch to manage instead of run their function in the business.

Fleetmatics customer service is one of the worse I have ever seen. Horrible with replying back to emails and also with the service itself. We've had devices that are sent to us that are not functioning correctly. Management on their side does not respond in a timely manner, and we have had multiple complaints with no improvement in service.
