FasterNotes provides electronic billing, eligibility, payroll, authorization management, scheduling, and HR tools tailored to home health practices. The system helps keep agencies on top of CMS, ACHC, CHAP and Joint Commission regulations and is even a good fit for those new to the home health industry.

FasterNotes takes a “boutique” approach to customer service. Customers are assigned a “Success Team” that works closely with them to make sure agencies meet their goals. This team approach to success goes beyond software integration and into areas like regulation research, best practices and vendor support.

Overall, FasterNotes is applicable to small-to-medium-sized home health and private duty agencies because of its user interface and team approach to an agency’s success. Agencies using FasterNotes will decrease overhead, save time, stay compliant and increase revenue.

The customer service is wonderful! They've helped us get used to the software and gave us as many training sessions as we needed. They are extremely knowledgeable about the software and home health. Really great services and very happy with the software itself.

I liked the dashboard. The legend was easy to follow. It was easy to see what things were needing to be addressed, reviewed, or signed.

Unable to use offline. I did not get to see anything related to hospice. There were several questions that he did not know how to answer.

Recommendations

I would have been better if the presenter had a better clinical understanding of what RN, PT, OT, etc needs. I needed to see how to use this in the field.

Fasternotes has made us very organized and completely manages our insurance authorizations. The authorization tracker is really awesome and even automatically creates authorization records so we never miss a beat. Couldn't be happier with the software.

Very easy, accommodating, and flexible to your in office processes. GREAT customer service and they actually are complete experts with the software AND home health. You won't get that anywhere else. Wonderful experience so far and very, very happy with our decision to switch.

We are very happy with Fasternotes. It's a great product that is very easy to use for all of our staff. The workable reports are very helpful for us to make sure all of our tasks are completed and nothing is left behind. Our office is very organized and our processes have been solidified.

The customer service is exceptional. They provided the office staff and 2 field staff trainings, giving us the training videos and manuals and we had a very easy and fast setup. We are now fully functioning on the software with no issues and we signed up not even a month ago.

We have really enjoyed using the program so far. It is very easy for our staff to use and we are very thankful for that. We love the to do list and the orders page because it saves us so much time QAing documents and sending and receiving orders. We could never keep track of those things before.

We had a bit of a tough time getting used to the software but the customer support staff have been sooooo helpful! We were provided with as many trainings as we needed to be independent. They helped us get our information transferred from our old software and we are very happy with the product.

The order tracking page saves me so much time. I used to spend most of my day managing orders going in and out. I can send all of my orders by email or print all of my orders and they print with a cover sheet for each doctor. It saves me so much time! I can also easily download individual PDF order packages for the physicians and E-Fax very quickly. I only spend about an hour all day on order management.

A few MD's have asked for a physician portal to log in so it would be nice to be able to fulfill that request.

Recommendations

The program is very easy to work with. Most of the processes and tasks are self explanatory. We only had about a 2 hour training and it has been very easy to manage everything in the office.

We're an agency going through our first survey and the support staff at Fasternotes has made the whole setup process extremely pain free. They are very knowledgeable about home health, even more than my consultant! I was very surprised with the level of support I've received, especially being a brand new agency. Great product and the best customer service.

Love that the program can be flexible to our processes. We were worried about switching software because we are very stuck in our daily processes and Fasternotes was able to work with our processes so we didn't have to change anything major. It also offered some faster ways to complete our processes which is even better!

The tools in this software have organized our office tasks so we don't have to keep separate spreadsheets or anything to track what we've done and what we still have to do. Our QA can work from home and is able to follow up on all of the field staff and their documentation from the to do list and communicates with the field staff from the documents correction request. Saves everyone a lot of time.

We don't have some automated features that would make our use of the software even easier like the eligibility auto checks and we still have to use some manual processes for our medication reconciliation. We've been assured these features are coming this year.

Recommendations

This really is different than all of the other software companies we have evaluated. The tools offered in this software are so helpful and really keep us on track with everything. Very unique and extremely simple.

I love that my notes always prefill from my previous note so I can easily keep track of what I assessed during the last visit and how the patient has improved or declined since. Really helps keep my notes consistent and saves so much time.

It's difficult to see the visits I have scheduled for the day/week. My agency has to email me a list of scheduled visits.

Recommendations

The note prefill and correction chats are great tools and help me stay on top of everything. The software gets updated quite frequently as well which is nice to see the improvements actually being produced.

We have had a really great experience using Fasternotes. Not only is it very easy to use, but we have had the best customer service experience. Our previous software barely even answered the phone so it was impossible to get explanation on anything. We had some hiccups getting starting but the support staff cleared everything up for us and now we are having a very great experience with this program.

The to-do list keeps my tasks organized for my day to day work. I can manage all of the documents my field staff are submitting and QA and send correction requests very quickly. Very easy to use and I don't forget about any of the documents being submitted.

I really like the comprehensive OT notes that are provided from Fasternotes. I am able to detail my evaluation assessment and track the progress of the patients when completing my revisit assessments.

We love the organized order tracking feature so much! Our office spend so much time sending and receiving orders every day. We now send all orders with 1 button. Saves us so much time. We also love that we attach the signed order when receiving the order so we can see signed order from physician in charts.
