ApplicantPRO by JobMatch is a web-based Applicant Tracking System. Its interface can be utilized by organizations in any industry - property management, manufacturing, education, food & beverage and more. It's well-suited for small to midsized companies that are working to stay in compliance with EEO/AA and OFCCP guidelines.

After using ApplicantPRO to create a job posting, the system pushes the post to a variety of free job boards and up to 1,800 paid job boards, as well as all of the social networking sites: Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. ApplicantPro also helps users create and manage a branded careers website with no IT involvement. Its screening portal screens applicants based on criteria set by the organization.

ApplicantPRO tracks all of this information, which can then be analyzed in real time through a variety of HR metrics and customizable reports. It offers subscription-based pricing that’s variable by size of the organization, rather than the number of logins.

We are very happy with Applicant Pro at our company. We have tried several ways to accept applications online without any major cost increase. The solutions we came up with were either difficult for the applicant to use, or didn't work with our hiring process. Switching to Applicant Pro allowed us to accept user-friendly applications as well as work with our hiring process. Applicant Pro was also one of the most cost-effective solutions that I researched. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a digital hiring solution.

You get way more than what you pay for, and our experience with tech support and sales has been nothing short of stellar. Everyone has been amazing to work with! So far we have use this product a little over 6 months now and we have to say we love it! We have had such a big jump in candidates since we have use this product. We must say it has bought us so much success.

We began using ApplicantPRO about 4 years ago and it has made our recruiting efforts more efficient and effective.

Pros

One stop shopping: multi-site job posting functions, screening questions and integrations: video interviews, background checks, data entry tests, new hire paperwork, etc.

Cons

Nothing. I do think ApplicantPRO could do a better job promoting their new integrations, I have not known some of them exist or stumbled upon them myself. I wish ApplicantPRO would come out with an employee review website/product.

Advice to Others

I have worked with several applicant tracking systems and find Applicant Pro to be heads and tails above the rest. Their customer service is the best customer service I have ever received in the workplace with a vendor - they always respond quickly and follow-up when necessary.

Great Tool for smaller government contractors

We chose Applicant Pro out of about 5-6 vendors. We looked for OFCCP compliance, ease of use by ourselves and our applicants, scalable, reasonable cost, and robust reporting.

We have been really happy with this product! It helped us get control of our hiring process and accurately track and document our candidates. The system is OFCCP compliant which was a major concern for us. The posting process is quite good and allows you to track where you are advertising your position - and it allows for the social media posting as well. Though the system allows for the proper tracking and documentation, we can adjust how we use the system for maximum ease for our managers. The reporting is extremely robust including standard reports for EEO and reporting for the new veteran/disability requirements for government contractors. The candidate interface is very simple to use, which was another area of concern for us. The customer service is excellent - they have a chat process and they have been so responsive when I have questions - so you don't get left hanging. For a smaller government contractor this is an excellent solution - can't say enough good things about it.

Pros

Cost effective, easy to use, great reporting capability, great customer service, great posting capability.

Cons

The initial training was a little sparse but the system is very intuitive to use and very easy. I wish they had a manual instead of the topic documents in the help area. Alot of times the topic I enter into the search area on the help page has no results - usually because of the way I've asked the question. So I wind up using the chat function instead. The customer service with the Chat function is outstanding they never leave you hanging!

I used this product for a period of 3 years before I left the company I was with. It had a really good ROI for the solution offered to my company. The functionality gave the hiring managers and HR staff the tools necessary to come out of the stone age (manual paper process) and utilize a paperless system of tracking and streamlining the hiring process. Overall it increased the efficiency of the department and affected the bottom line of the company.

Pros

Ease of use. Some bells and whistles found in more expensive solutions. Cost. Separate supervisory log-in. Applicant screening options. Propagation to free online resources.

Cons

Would like to see more CRM functionality

Advice to Others

Ease of contact between applicant and managers. Ability to spotlight (seen direct message) do supervisors and managers. The ability to set up status and emails to suit our company. Having Screening services that you can order and get the results directly from the applicant's screen. ProScreening is one of the best Screening services I've ever worked with. So many Pros, it's hard to list them all.

All information does not get passed to integration. You have to download all your documents manually.

From sales to service to day to day use no complaints here. More bang for your buck than any ATS I have used.

Pros

I have used ApplicantPro for close to ten years now with two different employers. I made sure to make the switch here at my current employer to ApplicantPro as soon as I came on board. Has all the bells and whistles needed comparable to the big name brand ATS solutions at about half the cost. Great service if and when needed and very easy to use. Most impressive is they do not rest on their laurels as they constantly strive to update and improve their offerings.

Cons

The only con I can think of is that more people are not aware of the product and how great it is. They should have much more market share!

Pros

The ability to post through multiple job boards at no additional cost is a huge value. I also like the interface as its pretty streamlined and easily customized. The support is also great!

Cons

Manually adding applicants is more difficult than it should be. There is no resume-parser that other software systems have that pulls text from a resume, LinkedIn profile, Etc. As a result, manual entry takes some time and isn't perfect.

Pros

Very user friendly, and it has multiple uses. I also appreciate the customization that you can do per employer use.

Cons

It is constantly timing/signing me out after non-activity. I wish it would make the idle time longer, or not sign me out at all. It is inconvenient especially when you are working on something and you end up losing what you have completed so far.

Like any applicant tracking system, you get a mixture of candidates. We've seen a lot of candidates that are not qualified, but I think once we learn the system better we will know which questions to ask and how to use the disqualifying application.

I like how easy the software is to use and maneuver around. I like the search option. I like how it tells me how many times and applicant has applied and which positions they have applied for.

Cons

The reports options are a little limited in Report Builder. Also, I do not like when I have sorted my applicants by Job Title and go away from that screen and then return, they have defaulted back to the date default.

The ease of use and multitude of job boards my job is pushed to. Also, the quality of the applicants are far better than any other solution I have used...I can ask basic qualifying questions that really helps the applicants, as well!

Also, the reports are very useful. I can see where applicants may have stalled out or abandoned the application - which allows me to tweak it or remove a section that is not appealing.

Cons

They are a small and growing company - so, bumps in the road are normal. I appreciate a quick response when I need something!

Pros

I like how easy it is to assign users and send them applicants to review. I have received excellent feedback from my users! I can't say enough about ApplicantPro's value to me. ApplicantPro is saving me hours each week that I would have spent manually tracking and saving applicants.

Cons

I only have one small complaint which is you can't remove a star from an applicant. I accidently "starred" one and wanted to remove it, but the system does not allow you to do that.
