With functionality for applicant sourcing and tracking, resume parsing, video interviews and more, Breezy HR is a suitable recruiting platform for small and midsize businesses around the world.

The system is Web-based and features a dedicated app for iOS devices so recruiters can use the platform on-the-go. Breezy HR also comes with EEOC reporting capabilities, customizable career pages and the RESTful API so developers can tweak the software to their needs.

We have been with Breezy since December in 2016 and I gotta say that I don't have any Cons. If you don't have a function this team works hard to make it happen. We needed additional reporting and they created the function for it. We needed an effective way to launch a Referral program with reporting and they did it. This really is such an awesome company and software vendor!

Overall, super happy with the software, service and price.

Pros

This ATS does a lot of things well. Easy to track candidates, custom emails, email and calendar integration, Chrome integration, a pretty serviceable iOS app. And a user interface that doesn't like it was designed in the aughts. Equally nice is the regular pace of updates that occur. Best of all is the incredible response that I get when I have a question (either good or stupid - my questions) or just feedback. I'm pretty psyched about the customer rep and how quickly he gets back to me.

I also like that I can easily manage more than one company on the same platform.

Cons

Small silly things. I fill out my scorecard as I'm interviewing a candidate. If I want to take a quick peek at their resume, the scorecard closes, loosing all my notes. Resumes are hard to read (small type).

Breezy HR ATS - When Not Bad is Pretty Good

After 5 years of using a competitors ATS, I had a chance to survey the market and pick a system that truly suited my needs. While I didn't fine the perfect solutions, I did find a product that had 1)mail and calendar integration 2) an user interface that wasn't designed by some engineer that never actually tried to use their own product 3) and a reasonable price. Top it off with some really top notch customer support and I'm pretty happy. One bonus - if you recruit for more than one company, you can easily maintain a couple of companies on the system and easily switch between the two.

Pros

Nice user interface, great price, great customer support.

Cons

Needs a quick view that shows candidates linkedin profile, personal websites and easy action from this view.

So simple & intuitive to use and really a joy for everyone on the team to use. It's really the first tool we've been able to get everyone using.
I'd also like to call attention to the amazing support team they have in place. They're highly knowledgable and very responsive.

Cons

While they have an iPhone app, I prefer to use the mobile web version. It's good but not nearly as good as the iPhone app right now. Would like to see more work on the mobile web.

They are only a year old so there are occasionally bugs, but they are SO fast at fixing them and helping us out.

Recommendations

Seriously, stop looking and give Breezy a try... I love them so much I feel like I could sell their product! haha we have been using them for about a year. If I could give their customer support higher than a 10 I would!

I like everything about this software. It has helped me systematize and automate hiring for our small medical practice. We used to waste time searching through resumes and applications, sorting, reviewing, passing back and forth files only to forget what we thought of a candidate. We now can use our time efficiently and for recruiting instead of administrative stuff. Hiring takes away from our production.
The Breezy HR team is super responsive and helpful for support and feature requests. I found this software by chance on Twitter and it has changed our whole process for the better.

Likes Least

Obviously any small business is worried about cost. I think the software is worth the money and is also very flexible. Pay for what you need, no long term commitments.

Recommendations

The best thing about Breezy is its smooth UI / UX. We use Trello religiously so Breezy literally was a breeze to get started and understand how it works.

Within 10 minutes of posting our jobs, we received quality applications.

The fact that you have your own personal link to your jobs is also fantastic.

The vendor was very responsive in adding new features. The product is light weight and easy to use. It takes little to no training at all. You also can't beat the price. The way that they price makes it very affordable for our business and makes sure everyone is collaborating.

It is not very customizable, but that is understandable because it probably wouldn't be as easy to use.

I *really* enjoyed using breezy to manage our hiring process. It would not be an exaggeration to say that without breezy this would have been absolutely impossible. The workflow tools, calendaring, video meetings, and other candidate interaction tools all reduced my workload, and allowed me to keep the candidates organized and coordinated with a minimum of fuss.

When we started using this software it was in a fairly late beta state, and in the beginning some things were a bit rough. However, the developer is extremely responsive, and addressed all of our concerns during our usage. Over the months of our usage, things have become more and more polished, and are now definitely "corporate" ready.

Recommendations

An HR tool needs to reduce your workload. I find that the best way to do that is to integrate all the features that I need into a single place. Breezy does that admirably. In addition, the interface is so easy to use that it takes all of the clumsiness out, and that really saves time!

The constant chat's from the CS Rep. It chats me every day and can get a little distracting but the software is still amazing to say the least.

Streamlines the recruiting process for our company.

Pros

Fast and easy posting of jobs to the various job boards, Nice user interface for communicating with applicants and tracking them through the process. Collaborative scoring and sharing of notes with other stakeholders helps make the hiring process less arduous.

Cons

The paid ad management is a little unclear. Need to have clearer explanations in the FAQs on how subscriptions/promotions work with the various ad boards. But being able to place and promote jobs on several boards from within Breezy is a big time saver.

Also, keyword highlighting and/or scoring of resumes would be a big help.

We have gone from a manual tracking system to Breezy and thus far it has fulfilled our needs.

Pros

I like the ease of use and moving around in the software. It is extremely user friendly to post positions and make modifications, etc. When I do get stuck, the support team has been very responsive and helpful.

Cons

Too early to tell but I do notice from time to time thee software runs a bit slow, so I have to refresh to get to what I need during those times. There are some tracking components I hope will be added in the future.

Pros

I like that it is very responsive and it feels like it's designed to focus on helping you get the job done when it comes to managing applicants for hiring campaigns.

The layout for managing candidates is super simple and I've easily managed to save myself many hours moving candidates through our hiring process.

I was using Google Sheets before to manage everything and I thought I was doing a good job, but Breezy has helped me to simplify and improve my process as well as making it super easy to manage my new and improved process.

It's made us better at hiring, win.

Cons

There are a few features which don't work as expected and I have to work around them. Whenever I come across something that isn't working as expected I reach out on Intercom and receive a prompt response, so that's super cool.

But yeah, sometimes I'm like - why can't this thing be done differently. For instance when an automated email is queued, there is no option to edit the text. So if I've just been speaking to a candidate and I move them to the next phase I often have to delete the automated email and send a new one so that I can edit it.

When I joined KM&T the system was manual, meaning CVs and applications were filed away in folders and in word.
This has meant we can keep candidate details, CVs and any other associated docs in one place.

Pros

Visually it is clean but modern. Easy to move through the features. Search functions and Tags are great. The support is prompt and efficient.

Cons

I cannot interact with Outlook direct from the system. This is something that would be hugely beneficial to me as it would save me having to come out of the system and back in.

In general the workflows keep recruiting on task and focused. Screening is dramatically enhanced with all information at your finger times including cover letter, resume, candidate video and more. Breezy is the best recruitment platform I've used in over 20 years of operations management.

We moved from a Trello board to Breezy and find that we are getting more recruiting done. We're faster in responding to candidates, we're better at working as a team and our open positions get distributed wider.

The application creates entry forms that cannot be translated to the native language of the candidate. This creates confusion and unwarranted complexity.
