Algeco Scotsman is a group of 6,500 employees in 37 countries. It is known under different names accross the world, Algeco in Continental Europe, Elliott in the UK, Williams Scotsman in North America, etc.
As our organization is very diverse, the need of having a global software to store HR data and support HR processes (Performance, Compensation Review, etc) appeared.
The difficulty was to have a solution global enough to take in account local specificities.
The different countries had a variety of local tools and most of them had no HRIS.
ETWeb was bought in 2011 version 10.8 and we are now using the version 11.
The implementation took about 6 months for 4 modules. It is been done together with Lumesse, a third party (local consulting company) and internal resources.
The training was provided to HR admin and they are trained regularly to new processes, new functionalities. The deployment is not finished yet, as the group is growing and new countries have recently joined the organization.
Lumesse customer support is reactive and help us to solve quickly technical issues we may have.
Today, the performance review is done for our entire organization for the 3rd year and we have achieved the process of Talent Review supported by ETWeb this year.

We originally moved to ETWeb to handle Performance, because the home-grown system we were using was not very robust and was difficult to use. It was easy to implement and so easy to use, we received very few calls with questions or problems when we implemented in 2009.
We have since implemented compensation, 360 reviews, succession, risk assessment, and do extensive headcount reporting from the system. All implementations were easy and very intuitive for our employees.

At Ash Grove Cement Company, we needed to improve our internal people management systems and, after reviewing several options, Lumesse was selected. Having easy to use employee profiles, performance management, compensation management, development plans, succession management and more - it was easy to choose Lumesse.
Ash Grove currently uses all modules available in ETWeb version 10.6. In addition, we've created customized modules, such as training plans, which is a way for managers to track compliance training.
Implementation was condensed due to our business needs, and the partnership between Ash Grove and Lumesse allowed us to deliver the product on time and on budget. Overall, it took a strong team at Ash Grove and a solid framework of how we wanted the system to function. Once we had the team and framework in place, we were able to utilize Lumesse's implementation plan and resources to meet our go-live goal.
The Lumesse support team is available through an online support center to create the initial request, then you are paired with a support person who addresses your request. At that point you communicate via email, phone or the online support center depending on the issue or question. You are also given an account representative who is your main point of contact for upgrades, custom work or general questions. They can be reached via phone, email, and offer onsite check-in meetings every 12 - 18 months. The positive relationship we have with our Lumesse account team means a lot to us and we appreciate their support.
Overall, we are happy with our decision to partner with Lumesse. Our ability to provide analytic data to our senior team, on demand quick reports for data review, and the employee's ability to take ownership of their internal professional profile, have been well received.
