BlackDog Recruiting Software has been in the industry for more than 30 years. Having originally developed custom recruiting applications for its own staff and then other firms, BlackDog refined these applications into a single powerful tool, Gopher. Gopher for Recruiters is a comprehensive recruiting solution that can be scaled to meet the needs of companies of all sizes.
This software is backed by decades of industry expertise and provides reliable, user-friendly functionality to improve the recruiting process. With a suite of applications that include ATS, CRM, and both contact and sales management, users can easily manage every stage of the recruiting process from a single solution.
Gopher is unique in that it offers both a cloud hosted and a self hosted options, so companies have access to a deployment model that works best for them. The cloud hosted model runs via an Internet connection, but without the risks associated with a web server. The self hosted option allows companies to license the product and host it locally - a great option for companies with a higher user count.
Both deployments offer a user-friendly, interactive interface that allows users to quickly and easily toggle through their various daily tasks. Even if you have multiple windows, projects or assignments on your desktop, Gopher ensures they talk to each other, so data remains up-to-date and consistent. The software has a deep integration with Microsoft Outlook so all tasks and functions feed into Outlook and vice versa.
The software is highly customizable, and BlackDog offers unlimited hands-on training from their friendly, knowledgeable staff. Support and upgrades are included in Gopher's affordable pricing structure.
We recommend this solution to small and growing 3rd party recruiters seeking an affordable, reliable solution.

Very user-friendly. I only recall needing tech support two times in 12 years, and they were on it immediately
I have no issues. There's nothing that I do not like. It works well and consistently.
There are multiple vendors of headhunter software packages. Evaluate three or four. Some of them I found ridiculously expensive to buy, and others have a monthly charge per user. Gopher is fairly inexpensive.
