Hoops is a software platform that reduces the time spent recruiting for open positions by shifting accountability to candidates to compete for open jobs. Candidates answer questions, submit work samples, and upload videos to show who they are and what they can do. Candidate responses are then used to create high definition profiles for the hiring team to review.

With Hoops, recruiters create job specific questions and tasks for candidates, and customized messages to welcome candidates and keep them informed of upcoming tasks. Questions and tasks are time-bound to keep candidates on track and moving through the hiring process. Candidates use an access key, that can be sent via email, text, or social channels, to create their accounts on a fully brandable web portal.

Hiring teams can view profiles, score responses, and rank candidates inside the Hoops platform. The software is web-based and fully mobile. It can be accessed from iPads, tablets, or any mobile device, and can be used by candidates and the hiring team anytime, anywhere.

The best thing about Hoops is the engagement rate... it's off the charts. We couldn't find any other platform that could get anywhere near the user engagement that Hoops gets consistently.

There's not really anything to dislike... They've been super responsive to questions, and setup, love the features and ease of use. So nothing negative to report.

Recommendations

This platform is positioned in the HR market, but we've also used it successfully for onboarding and training as well. With the way it's built, it's actually really flexible and the engagement rate makes it ideal for more than just hiring.

What's not to like? Makes the application process engaging, gives me a high-definition look at a candidate before ever submitting to a hiring manager. My clients love it, my candidates love it. I've been extremely satisfied.

I really can't think of something to complain about; if anything, I'd like to have a scheduling component

For me, I wanted a product that was visually stunning, professionally designed, and built with the recruiter in mind. I want a product that can be customized and implemented quickly without disrupting my day-to-day. I couldn't believe how seamless the implementation was.
