I have been using JobDiva for recruiting for over six months. It is very easy to use. But I would like it if was a bit more customizable. For instance, linkedin allows you to search by industry. I work for mostly financial clients that require a financial background. If job diva allowed you to search by industry, that would be super helpful.

Jobdiva has been a great tool to help find qualified candidate nationwide for our positions. Although some locations may be less populated with resumes than other it can easily pull resumes into their system. Adding a new candidate that did not have a profile is a breeze. Although the system does get bogged down when there are a lot of people using it it has been a great tool for me to be successful in my daily agenda.

Pros

Easy to add new candidates, pulls accurately based on mileage and zip code (it is a little far sometimes but its great for the most part), not having to search on career builder or dice or indeed is a huge bonus for me. Lastly I like the feature that allows you to leave notes on the candidates profile.

Cons

- The feature that is supposed to display potential job matches for the candidate is not accurate. It appears to only pull jobs based off of location and not experience.
- The texting feature never works for me

I like to see a function where you can save your search directly from running an "Agent Search" within the job.
When a position is being merged into a new position - I like to see the old job order number being saved in the merge as well.
These are the only two that I have comments on at this time.

Pros

Easy access to records at the touch of an ICON, record displays views are great to get a quick glance of the profile with just a quick, and records are not cluttered and are organized for easy access.

Cons

Can't really think of any at this time. Haven't really used all the features as of yet in JobDiva, but would like to get more involved in the recruiting process if there is something that I am missing to help find the best fit candidates.

You can check communication between the candidate and any other employee of your company in "Saved-emails", which I think is an excellent feature.

Cons

1. The update time/fetching of resumes, from Job portals to Job Diva needs to be quicker.
2. There should be a criteria/pattern which can eliminate fake candidates from Job-diva.

Wish there was a "similar profile" section - similar to the LinkedIn side bar. Would make my job a lot easier!

Pros

Like how it's easy to find candidates and the reporting tools. Database harvests pretty well and usually profiles have up to date contact information

Cons

Sometimes is very slow. Wish there were better ways to exclude experience/citizen functionality - having a hard time looking through H1Bs when I need citizens and green card holders

Overall, I think JobDiva is a good tool. It is very robust with many features. Would be the best tool for recruiting with minor changes making it easier to communicate about candidates to colleagues.

Pros

Searching is fairly easy. Posting positions is very simple and streamlined - excellent. Lots of features.

Cons

Search is not always accurate even after changing search string. You can't email notes directly from a candidates profile. Too many clicks to add a tasks related to candidates.

I like jobdiva. It's an excellent repository for Staffing in terms of candidate tracking, storage of contact data, and other features.

Pros

This is a huge comprehensive tool that stores massive amount of data.

Cons

The UX could be better, not a fan of new icon logos in the tools page - they don't all seem to be indicative of their function. High traffic causes crashing. Sometimes the website crashes in chrome disabling all of the tabs I use JobDiva for. It would be good to have a better understanding of what terms map to what skills. This would help make searching for talent much more targeted and reduce the time it takes to mine through resumes that aren't right. Also, it would be a good if JobDiva could filter out profiles that are missing contact info to weed out agency resumes, for example, those agencies that upload resumes that only have a Last Name initial.

We are a boutique Executive Search Firm located in the UAE. We had initially subscribed to Bullhorn only to barely use the system due to lack of sufficient training, lack of customer support and a complicated interface. We had major issues going back and forth with Bullhorn, trying to resolve matters and find a solution and we hated having to deal with them and their ATS. We finally decided to switch from Bullhorn to Job Diva and can not believe the difference. The customer service is just amazing, their training and support is incredible. They give us unlimited training, unlimited users and their fees are a fraction of Bullhorns. We invested (wasted) a substantial amount of money on Bullhorn, and the return on investment was horrific. Happy to highly recommend them to any recruitment firm.

Overpromise at conferences (for example, was told that the email templates feature could easily be changed so that more autopopulation fields were consistent as options from one templates area to another, but when I sent a list of requests, was told this was not possible to implement)

Don't always seem to take tech support issues seriously - Sometimes, when we report issues for which support does not have a quick and easy answer, our emails will remain unanswered for days - occasionally weeks. Additionally, there have been a few times where we report trying to accomplish one goal, and instead of simply saying "that is currently not possible," support will offer steps to achieve a completely different end result.

Really would be nice to have more controls - particularly in the CRM - for example, make it so that all references entered by candidates don't create a unique company record, but get put into one set company record so that actual client records can stay mostly clean and reportable

Best thing is that it has each and every thing in it starting from postings to mail merge, Submission till Candidates Joinings.

Only things that I didn't liked is sometimes it lags many a times, then again we have to refresh and then we search as per the same string and then we get the list of candidates

I have used Job Diva in two different recruiting organizations. In both environments, Job Diva was the primary tool used to source and track candidates through the recruiting lifecycle and in both cases, it was a great tool. It's easy and effective for sourcing, and Diva helps keep track of recruiting activities, candidates in process and old/new requirements. Limited expereince with customer service, but on the few occasions when I have reached out with a question, they were responsive.

Cons:

Overall the software is user friendly. It harvests well from job boards and the search function is easy to use. However the contacts section for sales is not very easy to organize. I'd like to see it be easier to keep track of who you call on what day in a section and have reminders to re-call prospects weeks down the line. Great for recruiting, not great for sales.
