MSP Remote Monitoring & Management (MSP RMM) is a cloud-based network administration solution designed to help large and midsize businesses manage their IT network needs. On-premise deployment options are also available.

MSP RMM features “Active Discovery” which provides visibility of all active and inactive devices on the client’s network. The issue reporting module of the software allows users to view issues with devices connected to the client’s network. With the help of a patch management tool, network administrators can deliver software updates and bug fixes to all connected devices.

MSP RMM features integration with ServiceDesk which helps network managers deliver service and support to the network users within the MSP RMM platform. Customized scripting allows users to design their own applications using several software development languages.

Support is offered through an online knowledge database and via email. A free trial of the software is available.

This software helped us reduce the time needed to manage and confirm our customers backups and be more proactive for our clients.

Pros

We really enjoy the ease of use of this product, we're able to securely monitor all our customers workstation and be more proactive. The patch management system and take control features are a must for any small MSP companies starting out. Their capped server and workstation fee's are great so you know exactly how much you will be billed.

Cons

We do have some issues with the Vulnerability scanners not always scanning or sending us the data. We would like more custom reports settings available and more functionality with the managed anti virus.
