HouseCall Pro is a cloud-based field service management app for service professionals to automate their workflows. This solution includes a native mobile app and serves a wide range of industries, such as landscaping, cleaning, plumbing, electrical and more.

HouseCall Pro allows companies to forego paperwork in favor of digital automation. It offers features such as job scheduling, dispatching, payment processing, estimates, automated receipts and invoices, customer notifications, company chat, as well as postcard and email marketing automation.

Customers can book services via the HouseCall mobile app, communicate through a centralized messaging system and make online payments.

The mobile app can be accessed on both Android and iOS devices. There is a free version for single owner/operators, which offers many of the core features of the paid version. Premium pricing is based on the number of users, and an enterprise license is also available.

This solution is available across the U.S. and Canada.

I love the Quickbooks Integration, the ease of scheduling jobs and assigning to employees and the excellent customer service.

Cons

As with any new software, it takes a little time to figure out the best way to schedule stuff for your company but the customer service is very helpful.

Since day one I signed on they have made it to Mendez changes to the software. Satisfied with the service but can use some updates and changes.

Pros

Very easy to set up customers and appointments. Awesome that you don't have to use a different software for credit card processing.Awesome that you don't have to use a different software for credit card processing.

Cons

Does not have automatic text reminders for customers on their next scheduled appointment. I cannot set up reoccurring appointments on mobile app.

Other than that they are bad.
I would not recommend lied and said I could get a refund if it didn't work for my company if I paid for a year.

Cons

Changing estimate to job does not clear from calendar. Customer history has to go in and out of to obtain
Messages only go to one person.
Bland invoices and estimates.
No second-page terms page could be fitted. Can't get a refund although I was told I could if I paid for a full year. Liars.

Can look up history, see where techs are to schedule more jobs(or not). When a customer calls inquiring about past jobs, it's easier to find...and mobile, not so frantic when not at the office

I have been a user since House Call Pro went national with their service. I don't have anything but good things about the company itself and the app/software!

First, the app is for the phone works flawlessly and has improved so much since I first started. (aka awesome development and customer service team behind the app).

The latest feature that I love is the employee time tracking feature! They can clock in and out right in the app! and the report for that is simple and user-friendly! I have 1 employee and looking to add another and this solves that huge time tracking issue I was having because they listen to their pros.

Now that doesn't cover what my customers have said to me about how they like all the notifications and email reminders and text alerts and so on and so on. This adds so much value to my company. Communication with customers is I think #1 in service based business' and House Call Pro knocks it out of the park!

Also great customer service. Great development speed. They are always getting feedback from their pros and using that to put the more requested features to the top of their development roadmap. I love that and have seen it over and over again the past 1.5 years or so I have been using the app.

Cons

Cons? I would have to say no Ipad native app. However, they have made changes to the web portal so it is touch screen friendly and you can still use the mobile app as well just zoomed in. But the web portal through the browser on my iPad works well, I just know it would be snappier as a dedicated app. BUT I also know adding another version of the app would slow overall development of new features as a whole so I am understanding.

We have been using HouseCall Pro for over a year now and we love it. As an owner of a Residential cleaning company and 30 employees, HouseCall Pro has helped us tremendously with scheduling, customers reminders and billing, tracking time and employees routing from one centralized software. The onboarding was very easy the staff at HouseCall was great. The other thing I like about them is how responsive to new ideas they are. This is by far the best service software out there.

From dispatch to billing and everything in between, this cloud based CRM is absolutely fabulous. It has lifted a HUGE burden off the office as we went 100% paper free for all service.

The reason I started this review is that I am actually blown away by the similarities between how HouseCall Pro treats it's customers in comparison.

My business is just starting out with only a handful of employees but from day one my engagement with HouseCall Pro has been astonishing - in a very good way - with me receiving as much care and attention as I have been used to giving to my own customers in the past! The initial contact tried to understand the key points that I was looking for in the software before setting up a one-on-one meeting where those key points were shown to me in a live demo.

The software itself is actually perfect for my business. The learning curve was a little different to what I expected but the support has been absolutely first class. The online help is excellent, but the online support chat window is phenomenal. The folks in support not only know their stuff, they respond quickly, help with the questions I have and have a laugh along the way. What actually prompted this review was a more recent phone call to the support team. I had to leave the call before they answered. Totally unprompted, within 5 minutes, they had called me back to see how they could help. Now, THAT was impressive.

I completed a lot of research prior to deciding to invest in HouseCall Pro. I made the right decision, without question, when I moved forward with HouseCall Pro.

I highly recommend this product.

I would recommend this program to all one man shops to 10 truck shops

Pros

I now have everything the big companies have and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. It intereactcts with my QuickBooks, it allows me to schedule, it does credit card processing, it tells me who has paid and who hasn't. The only issue is I wish I had found this sooner.

Cons

The only con I can find is it's a bit confusing with multiple address for one account other than that I can't really find a flaw

We searched and tried so many CRM's and scheduling programs that I was on the verge of having one made to my own personal specs due to not having the features we needed in one. Thankfully, I happened to see a top 10 list, Housecall Pro. Since then, no exaggeration, we have seen a minimum of a 25% increase in overall efficiency. From scheduling and billing to estimates, I could not have described a better functioning program. I wanted to take this time for any business who provides services and understands how important time and efficiency are in this arena. From my techs to my sales managers, they ALL benefit in some capacity and actually have thanked me for making their jobs just a little easier. I stand behind my review, which are rare for me to even do, because I hope someone who is in the position I was will give it a shot. Within 48 hours of using it, I knew without a doubt I wanted my business integrated into the program. I can't even think of anything for them to add except maybe new clients calling in.

I think this would be a good product but it lacks good customer support.
We were excited to get started so we downloaded quick books into their system right away which was good, but we soon had some issues and needed some HELP with it and found out that the only way we could communicate with them was thru a chat line or do training webinars which were not until the following week. So there we were with multiple questions not enough answers and nowhere to really go.
It is a shame that they don't have a good process to get you set up. I would have been glad to pay a setup fee where you could have actually talked to a live person and they would have gone through everything with you to make sure you were up and running.

The software has had some glitches, especially the app. I use the app mainly since I am out in the field most of the day. The app does not always reflect exactly what has been done. Getting help is not easy but they do respond. No live person just on the platform you can ask for help. Sometimes it becomes a back and forth with someone on the other end of the "live support" and not all my problems have been answered easily however they seem to get answered eventually. The system works well enough and I have been using it daily for my scheduling of trucks and drivers.

Great Features, Easy Navigation, the techs love the app, email marketing is great, simplicity of everything, but I haveto say my FAVORITE part is that you can easily chat with their customer service team and I have made a few suggestions that have actually been implemented!! I wish i could preview some of the other features without the commitment. For e.g. a 30 sample of a higher price point to determine if you want to invest in that tier.

The ability to sync with our Quickbooks Online and being able to email invoice directly from application. Not having to enter service tickets is a HUGE PLUS!

Cons

Our company has multiple jurisdictions for sales tax and some change quarterly. With that being said, any future appointments we set before the sales tax changes are made, if we don't update before the job is completed, we receive errors. It would be nice if it could update all future jobs already set.

It frees me up from doing paperwork and I could also do a contract on the spot and I can email receipts to customers and I'm able to take credit cards that part's a little pricey but it's easy

Keeps track of jobs, and paid invoices

Pros

I can run my business on the go, and email new clients estimates to approve and this locks regular clients in on my 30 day termination agreement, as I do not require any contracts.

Cons

I would love a section to make your own terms & conditions for your business. I now have to type a section at the very bottom of the estimate stating once approved they are locked in to the 30 day termination agreement.

How easy it is to use and how it is very interactive with our team and customers.
I like that it notifies our customers when there job is upcoming

Cons

The price is a little expensive we have a lot of expenses on going with our company and it is a little more expensive that we wanted to spend each month

Ease of use for tech. Scheduling is very easy.

Cons

I'd like to see an estimated time of arrival sent to the customer based on location. I like to give this info to customers so I find myself and tech cAlling this to them even though we use the on my way feature.

makes keeping all work in order especially commercial contracts

Streamlined the service call and sales process the customer finds it easier to buy

Pros

This software is truly the most cost-effective thing you could do to improve your efficiency of daily operations. Customers loved being able to approve estimates in the email and from the approval, we schedule jobs. There are so many great features that I can't list them in this review. The support staff is so responsive it's amazing.

Cons

It's a little hard to take a deposit on a job the way the invoicing is set up. But they are working on an improvement.
