LearnCore by VLinksMedia is a cloud-based interactive learning platform designed to give companies an application for creating and deploying training programs to their teams. This cloud-based application incorporates learning methodologies from trusted professional services like Kaplan and Pearson.
The hub of LearnCore is centered around their course creation tools. Users can build custom courses, integrate training content already available within the organization and upload content from other sources. Department heads can then measure the effectiveness of their training program with LearnCore’s automatically scored tests. There are different testing formats to choose from and control settings for time limits and passing grades.
Employees and teams can win rewards for completing courses and passing assessments. The LearnCore social forums give employees the opportunity to voice questions and insights and communicate with their peers on message boards.
LearnCore also offers an analytics feature that collects data on important metrics such as progress, completion, scores and forum activities. Data can be downloaded straight from LearnCore or it can be uploaded into other human resources (HR) systems.

The product is NOT an LMS. Learncore does not have basic LMS functionality, and has been a burden to manually administer assessments manually and reporting options in an excel spreadsheet have been a nightmare . You cannot assign courses to an individual easily, with out adding them as a new group. Currently we have to create new groups to assign courses. Ideally an LMS should be able to assign courses to specific individuals.
- Unable to administer annual exams an track on a rolling start date for New hires. There is no ability to annually certify for our Quality Control purposes
- Reporting is basic. Reports for individual learners do not have their names on it (must add name and job title). Effective reporting for compliance and auditing purposes is lacking . Reports are editable and very messy (excel spreadsheet)
-Historical data on users for job transfers are being done on the backend. Meaning once an individual transfers department the LMS cannot assign historical data (past course taken) to their new job function. We manually send a spreadsheet to Learncore to migrate data to their current role . Not efficient at all.
-Assessment revision is also manual. Once an assessment is published and a new revision must replace the old assessment all reporting date must be captured so it is not lost, once course is revised. Reports are cumbersome and manual for assessments. Manually sort and filter of excel spreadsheets to drill down to the desired information needed.
-No content asset library for courses. Very messy for learner dashboard and an administrative nightmare
- No ability to assign courses in the future by a calendar date.
There are 600 + LMS vendors. Learncore is not a match for our organizational size, complexity of LMSneeded, and support needs of our organization etc.

I like the flexibility and ease of using the solution.
Add more video and interactive solutions. For example, I wanted to incorporate a Prezi presentation, and the system rejected it.
