AXIS ERP is unique in its focus on manufacturers in the cabling, wiring, and metal processing industries. It was acquired by Consona in 2004 and has since been rolled into the Consona suite of ERP products including Made2Manage, Intuitive, and Encompix. Consona touts that AXIS has been built from the ground up in collaboration with its customers providing suggestions, feedback, and beta testing. AXIS is used by both custom and repetitive cable manufacturers, ranging from small businesses to some of the largest enterprises in the wire and cable industry. The system offers complete functionality for accounting, inventory management, production scheduling, production management, CRM, and reporting. Out-of-the box features cover the unique needs of firms who melt, extrude, cast, roll, anneal, strand, forge, and slit products. The system is installed on-premise and is used by companies with at least $5 million in annual revenue and 10 concurrent users.

One key differentiator for AXIS ERP is its “Dynamic Order Fulfillment” module. This module automates the quoting, planning, and documentation of orders, eliminating most of the hassle associated with tracking descriptions, pricing, process routings, and product masters for every available product.
