Built in to the solution are EDI transaction sets for thousands of businesses, and Solarsoft manages all inbound and outbound EDI and non-EDI data, and links it directly to order entry, shipping and purchasing.

As well as managing and printing bar code labels, the solution can also assign and track lot and serial numbers for raw materials, work in progress, purchased parts or finished goods throughout the enterprise. It also provides ASN and shipping interfaces.

iVP eliminates the need to keep a separate warehouse or production reporting system, and data can be captured using bar codes, touch screens or PLCs. The solution can be accessed through any Internet browser, with updates and enhancements available for download straight to the company's server.
