That the software is fully integrated and fairly easy and intuitive to use. The system handles all aspects of our business from sales and receivables to purchasing, manufacturing, lot control and payables while generating the general ledger posting automatically.
The report writer is just a beast to use. I was able to write reports using UNIX on our last system and still can't seem to get the hang of Business Intelligence. Support also seems reluctant to dive into system problems. They would rather fix the immediate problem vs. exploring the greater ramifications of the problem.
Overall if you are in the manufacturing business, this software works very well. It helped that we were already on one system and were able to convert our data, which Process Pro was very helpful with. On-site training is very helpful.

Our company has been with ProcessPro for a little over 2 years now and I have been very pleased with both the software and support that we have been given.
We are a specialty chemical manufacturer that requires attention to a lot of details; such as lot tracking, purchase re-order points, daily sales reports and cost tracking to name just a few. ProcessPro has been able to fulfill all of our needs in these areas and so much more.
Our implementation was a little taxing, but due to no fault of ProcessPro. They are always here to help. I do strongly advise thorough training and proper General Ledger set up by ProcessPro staff. Once ProcessPro is properly set up, the capabilities of the software are endless. It is also very user-friendly software.
The part that I love the most is that when you purchase ProcessPro software, you have just become part of a wonderful family. I can't say enough good things about how important you are always made to feel and how much they are constantly searching and realizing ways to make their software better and give the customer what they need.

We really out grew the pen and paper way of tracking about 10 years ago, but we didn't have the personal to help implement a new system. It got to the point where we were losing too much inventory and it was really starting to effect how we ran our business. We looked at a few different systems but the thing that stood out to us about ProcessPro was how the company was set up and run.
ProcessPro came out and spent an entire day with us to go over in detail how their software works, what it can do, and how it could help us. Their sales people were VERY knowledgeable about the product, which, we found, isn't always the case. With ProcessPro we asked a question and they would show us how their system would handle it. The other great thing about ProcessPro is they REALLY listen to their customer’s needs and wants. The software is always changing in a direction of the customers liking!
Their support is absolutely amazing too, and I think it's the one area people forget to ask about. In other companies you feel like another number, or that you as a user know more about the product than the person who's suppose to be in support. That's not the case with ProcessPro; they develop a relationship with each customer so you never feel like just a number. They walk you through step by step on how to solve a problem or they will send you an email with screen shots. They are willing to take the time out and really make sure you understand what they are explaining to you. ProcessPro is a great solution for any company. Their software has great functionality, it's easy to use, and they have the best support around. I always recommend ProcessPro to people who are looking for a new ERP system.

We were looking to upgrade our software 2 years ago to help us better schedule and track our production. We had looked at a few other software options but as a company decided that ProcessPro Premier was the best fit for us. They had quite a bit to offer a food manufacture. We are a family owned company, and they had a similar feel to the way they handled their company. They gave us great customer service and support throughout all of our implementation and any other time we had questions.
The other very large selling point that made Process Pro superior to other software companies is that they have an amazing User Conference each year where you can learn about the new features and refresh yourself on the features that have been in the software for years. They also love to hear what the users are looking for in the next release. They will take the top requests and try to make them available for everyone. This is such a benefit for the users because we are the ones that point ProcessPro in the direction that we think is best for the software and us.
If anyone ever mentions to me that they are looking for an upgrade on their software for an MRP/ERP system I am always pointing them in the direction of ProcessPro.

The software isn't that bad; the business practices are another story. I would not recommend using this company. Money built into implementation is used to cover other costs - we found out after the money had been reallocated. Estimated modification was off by a factor of almost 6. Once prepaid funds are used, you are billed for everything. Someone responded to your email - expect to be billed for a half hour and the list goes on.
Don't expect to be able to understand their invoices either. For anyone thinking about using the payment plan - be warned even though the Process Pro software requires a 3 way match to pay things, the Process Pro company doesn't provide the invoicing needed to satisfy a 3 way match. It's up to the client to know when they need to make payments.
The entire experience has be horrendous to say the least. Multiple personnel changes in less than 6 months. It's been a year and we're still not live. Multiple mods are required - first mod has been less than pleasant experience. The spec stated that the mod needed to print a pdf document. A sample was provided. Sample happened to be a one page pdf even though we had verbally stated they could be multiple pages. Mod will only print one page of any pdf, because the sample was only one page. Spec didn't specifically say more than one page so it's our fault because we didn't have them amend the spec to include the possibility if multiple pages. There is no review process. They write the spec, programmers code to the spec, then you get what you get. If it's not right it's because you didn't provide correct information - so you start the process over again. Consider yourselves warned.

As CFO for a vitamin and supplement manufacturer, I needed to find a software package that was more specific to our needs. Having been an accounting and software consultant before, I knew what was needed and spent six months looking and talking to software developers and resellers. After much research and planning, I made the decision to go with ProcessPro software.
In January 2004, we fired up the ProcessPro solution and never looked back. It is one of the best business decisions we made. ProcessPro’s ERP solution for process manufacturing has supported our extensive growth for more than seven (7) years. Our business has grown, we added hundreds of SKUs, numerous product lines, and expanded from one (1) to five (5) separate facilities.
It was very important to find a developer that offered a complete system and ProcessPro did just that. It was critical that the company be cutting-edge, industry-specific yet versatile, willing to offer program modifications for our specific needs, and provide support beyond the typical “Help Desk”. We wanted a data base that was solid yet easy to access and capable of exporting data for management reporting. ProcessPro has performed as promised and in many instances exceeded our expectations.
The process manufacturing and inventory control features added a great deal of control without sacrificing efficiencies. This has helped to increase productivity many times over and allows our managers to focus on the production process and training. With the help of a ProcessPro specialist, we recently implemented the Automated Warehouse System (AWS). We now have better controls and accuracy along with improvements in productivity and customer service. Inventory is now real time, our counts and order fulfillment are more accurate, and the percent-of-service to our customers has improved significantly.
I cannot conclude without mentioning the people associated with ProcessPro. I found Ward Blaschko, the CEO for ProcessPro, and every one of his sales, administrative, programming and support staff to be exceptional individuals to work with. They have always been fair, helpful, diligent, resourceful and willing to go above and beyond to satisfy our needs and to meet the challenges of the manufacturing industry. I recommend the product and the people of ProcessPro without hesitation or reservation.
