Infusionsoft offers a great system for marketing and is very thorough. They have an extensive online support library as well as live chat support. Once it is all set up, it saves a lot of time and helps add value to your company.

Likes Least

The gmail sync doesn't work. Their staff isn't the greatest at following up on important issues. The calendar is very antiquated and almost useless.

Recommendations

Don't let the sales team talk you into signing up for service before you're really ready. The system takes a long time to get familiar with and learn how to use. Consider the fact that you will likely need to also purchase scheduling software when budgeting your monthly software costs.

Prone to bugginess and some features are not as deep as an advanced marketer may need.

For companies under $2MM in revenue this should be one of your top choices for a CRM or marketing automation or email platform.

Great customer service, pretty user friendly, any questions I have are answered immediately by customer service. I just love it when I put together a campaign and it does exactly what I had envisioned! Great for Sales CRM and Marketing campaigns. Best of both worlds.

Likes Least

The opportunity box description field is so tiny. The entire middle and right side of the page is blank, can you make this text area larger so it is easier to read?
Also, we'd like the creating an appointment process to be more intuitive. When we create the start date, it does not manually adjust the end date for us - we have to do it manually.

Recommendations

Make sure to think things through on how your processes work for your company and ask as many questions as you can.

The ease of use & setup.
The onboarding process with the vendor, walked us through the setup and the use of the CRM.
The Marketing Automation, once you get the concept, is incredibly easy to setup, change and maintain.

Likes Least

Small detail, but the webforms for the marketing automation campaigns are not mobile responsive, a slight UX issue when building landing pages, but not a major hurdle, more an esthetic want than a need.

Recommendations

If you're looking for a robust CRM for a small business, this one works, doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a SalesForce, but for the money it's worth the value.

The software will do almost anything you want it to if you are looking to keep in close contact with your clients. Also has MANY tools to capture and nurture prospects.

Likes Least

If you only need to use it as a CRM or database, its a little pricey if you don't utilize all the tools.

Recommendations

It definitely has a huge learning curve to learn everything about that software. It will cost you to send staff to the school or classes they have, so make sure you keep people on staff that can retain that info so you don't keep having to pay to teach new people.

Infusionsoft has been an excellent company to work with. From our first point of contact, the customer service was absolutely excellent. The staff were able to answer all our questions about CRM systems and were able to point us in the right direction for our company to be successful.

Catching on how to effectively create and send a campaign was slightly challenging at first. However, with the help of our coach we were able to overcome this obstacle and create successful campaigns.

Integrated CRM and e-mail marketing. The customer support was pretty timely and helpful, especially because I was a newbie and no one else in my office had the capacity to support me. I had some real struggles, but the customer support was very responsive.

Likes Least

The program is not intuitive at all, particularly the e-mail marketing portion. The tutorials don't match current features, which can get confusing.

The program was buggy. Which really got in the way of me learning this new software. For the two months that I tried to use the system we uncovered at least 2 bugs. Customer support had to give me funky work-arounds until they got things fixed. I was running Infusionsoft in Google Chrome, but regularly ran into snags, particularly when it came to sending out mass e-mails - error messages. I was told not to run the program in Chrome, that Infusionsoft was optimized for use with FireFox - that seemed odd to me.

The price is very high, especially for a small business. Also training is super expensive. My boss had purchased the training package a year ago and the person he had on board left part-way through the training process, so it was left unused. I was having problems coming up to speed with the software (largely due to repeatedly running into bugs) and asked for a discount on some training (a few times). Infusionsoft was insistent that we needed to pay for an entirely new training package for me or attend a seminar, if we wanted any support beyond the help desk. Only when we called to cancel our subscription did they offer to provide some on-boarding training for me. It was just plain too late by that time.

Recommendations

Really look at your business needs and the skill level of the folks who will be using the system. For the small business I'm working with, we took a good, hard look at what we really needed and found that we could do very well with Insightly. We saved considerable money per month going with a software that is more user friendly and in line with what we required.

Infusionsoft can be an extremely versatile tool that has saved me countless hours and headaches. The tagging system in particular allows you to segment your customers a million different ways, while tracking their activities. As a systems guy, it can be exciting to go in and think of the best ways to automate your business.

Likes Least

It can get a little dicey when your contact list approaches a million. Not being on a dedicated server can be annoying.

Recommendations

If you're a small to medium sized business that needs more automation around your company, not just for your salespeople, this is a great tool to use. If you're in a large-list company, you're going to want to make sure this is something you want, because we've had to do a lot of added on work to make it do what we want.

It is still a little complex for the average user.

Look for a software that offers the most personal help. Such as over the phone, online, in person, etc. The more you can have somebody walk you through the software the easier it will be to understand and the quicker you will be able to fully utilize it.

I explored over ten CRM options over a few eeks time period and went through as many demos. We decided to go with InfusionSoft because they allowed the perfect amount of training and personalization of the dashboard and forms. The choices are sufficient without being overwhelming and the interface is easy to look at and use, guaranteeing my team will adopt it. It is also capable of project management, though that's not our primary use.

Infusionsoft is a robust system that can do almost anything you can think of. Not only is it easy to import data, segment your audiences and send targeted, automated communications, it allows you to track your process.

Likes Least

I would recommend having a dedicated person for the implementation and execution of the system. Since it is robust, it takes some time to learn and feel comfortable.

Recommendations

The demos of this system are really helpful. Think about what you really need a system to do for your business - what's most important to you and evaluate numerous systems to see what is the best fit.

great phone customer service, very thoughtful and engaging CS reps who want you to help and succeed with the software.

can not integrate CRM into google calendar or push reminders to my phone. It is a closed universe and it should be much more plug and play. Also the mobile app version of the software is LAME.

Recommendations

Regarding the extra sale of service to set up extra marketing campaigns, the team is NOT up on social media or understanding how the tool is used on the mobile phone platform. The big marketing push to buy the software is that you can do everything yourself. I don't want to live in Infusionsoft, to be successful with the tool you have to. Also HATE the 12 month commitment...should be three...if they don't have the confidence that you'll be up and running in three... that's a problem.
