I was doing this product as an upgrade to my previous software. I purchased the full year ahead so as to save money. This product is best described as a spam generator. You have to watch videos in order learn how to properly use it. The database does not link to internet profiles such as linked in or twitter. I decided to abandon the program due to the difficulty and asked for a return of my unused portion they stated to me that I could find someone to take it over otherwise they would return it to me. After weeks go by and I call again they tell the computerized contract has a no refund policy. If you are small business don't bother.

Pros

It appears to be very versatile.

Cons

You have to spend a lot of time inputting the data into it and learn how to make it work for you. Coming away from it is an email generator.

Advice to Others

Don't buy it.

Our real estate team is in the early stages of learning to use the Infusionsoft CRM and we couldn't be more happy with the customer service that we have received so far. As far as the functionality goes, we have not gotten a chance to go through the whole site yet because we have not set up our marketing and campaigns, but everything that we have explored to this point has been wonderful!

InfusionSoft has helped our agency tremendously in the short amount of time we have been using it. It has made the rest of the agent's life's easier/freed up time. I would recommend this software, and we haven't even touched the email marketing portion of the software yet (still inputting our client's information into the system).

Pros

I love the ability to search for clients, store their policy information, the document notes through interactions we have with them, save email conversations and create tasks to complete for future days/weeks.

Cons

I don't like how quickly you are logged out when you are not active in the software. I also think it would be cool to be able to customize your user face with different colors/make it easier to read.

Advice to Others

I would recommend InfusionSoft for smaller companies. Definitely, makes life easier for our agents and we are excited to get to understand the email marketing portion of the software in the future.

We have begun using this year. It is hard to learn how to use at first without a good onboarding and company-wide deployment.

Pros

Tons of features.

Cons

Learning curve.

Advice to Others

It's definitely the future to use programs, CRMs and Automation like this, so it would be good to adopt.

I've used Infusionsoft for over 3 years. Every month it saves me time.

There is a learning curve to the system so persistence pays off. It took a little while to get my head around Infusionsoft's way of doing things. (e.g. where to edit master templates so that things appear as expected every time).

The tagging feature is brilliant and allows me to communicate with subsets of my list.
The campaign builder is a great way to map out automated campaigns. The trick is to keep them simple and label everything clearly so that you know what's going on where.
The email templates are mobile responsive and easy to use.

Regular system updates fix bugs and update features and functions - they do listen to what users want.

What most users don't know about are two resources that you have to go looking for:
- There is a free phone helpline number in addition to the online chat. Bear in mind that it is through to Phoenix Arizona so works on the office hours in their time zone. The online chat works fine out of hours.
- It is worth looking out for the local User Groups which are free to attend (subsidized by Infusionsoft) and allow a chance to ask questions and meet other users.

Pros

Tagging allows maximum flexibility for list segmentation and tracking.
Easy to build campaigns.
Simple to send quick email messages to the whole or part of the list.
Hosted landing pages and web forms within Infusionsoft.

Cons

Time is taken to learn the system initially.
Some things are not intuitive so take a bit of working out.

Advice to Others

Join a user group and join the Facebook user groups if you can't get to one in person.

I just love infusionsoft - even though I'm not yet using all aspects of it to the fullest I am so proud to be a customer and part of the Infusionsoft family. It's a game changer in my business!

Pros

flexibility, support, possibilities within the software

Cons

it took me a while to get my head around it

Advice to Others

don't wait till you think your "list" is big enough. I wish I'd switched way earlier on in my business

First, let me say, that I'm used to Hubspot. So when a client hopped on board with Infusionsoft, I half expected the same ease of use and functionality. I was definitely disappointed. However, in the past year or so that I've been using the software, I've learned more about how best to use it. I would certainly not say it's intuitive. There's a learning curve, for sure.

Emails are buggy and I've spent hours of back and forth with colleagues, just making sure font colors haven't been changed on us randomly, or even whole templates!

The tagging feature is a big plus. It really lets you drill down and target a very specific audience.

Support is awful. Sometimes you get someone who knows what they're talking about and sometimes you don't. We've created entire procedures around what one rep says, only to find out that we can't do what we thought we could (and thought we were doing). They really need a screenshare or at least a phone number. Waiting in line for chat is downright painful.

The price is reasonable, but I'm not sure it's worth it for the pain and headache that Confusionsoft brings.

Pros

The tagging feature is wonderful! It really lets you target the right audience.

Cons

It's not intuitive. Takes far too long to learn how to work even basic features, like campaigns. Support is terrible. They are a last resort. A screenshare should be available, as well as a call-in support. Chat takes far too long.

Advice to Others

Consider IS only if you're really invested in the tagging process. Otherwise, there are so many other tools, Hatchbuck, Hubspot, etc. that will serve you much better and you won't need a technical manual to figure out the process.

Does pretty much everything you need it to, but I think this is better for larger companies due to the price and complexity of the product.

Pros

Nice layout, pretty user friendly for the most part.

Cons

There's a lot to the software, so it can be overwhelming (especially the email marketing portion). It's also on the higher end, price-wise, and you have to purchase their kickstart program to get started which is really expensive.

Advice to Others

If you have only a handful of people I'd suggest looking for something at a lower price point.

I use only a small portion of Infusionsoft. I know this. It takes so much time to get the back end stuff working. Running a small business is hard, trying to get Infusionsoft functional to grow the business, harder. I definitely think it is a great investment if you have the time and money to get it to do what they tell you it can do. But for a small business owner it often feels like a big scam. I discovered it and was excited, signed up and loved the customer support, but they will only do so much without an extra fee. So, it is a potential investment - one that I hope i will use or will eventually leave because I simply cannot find the time or extra funds to do what will make it as valuable as it should be.

Pros

Great potential. Good customer data.

Cons

Not easy to setup. Too complicated to make work without help from Infusionsoft. Cost too much to have Infusionsoft set up for me.

Advice to Others

Research what all it comes with as part of the monthly costs and don't be fooled by the few freebies that are offered. A few campaigns does not equal a good functioning system. Determine if you have time to really put into developing what you want and if not get info on real costs for Infusionsoft to set it up for you.

I like it and what it offers, but the set up was fairly intense and I found that i could get the same value for less elsewhere.

Pros

Makes automation simpler and takes care of a lot of the minutia so you can focus on your business.

Cons

Pricey for what it offers. Other CRMs do a reasonably similar job for far less.

Advice to Others

Review all options before signing up.

We were able to get started very quickly. Imported 4 separate lists; sent a successful email blast; and launched two campaigns with great landing pages all in the first 10 days. Great partner support. Our next email blast goes out today...

Pros

With great support from IS and our certified partner we hit the ground running and were getting real value in first 2 weeks. Despite some warnings about complexity, we have had know issues.

Cons

I wasn't able to get my first campaign started by just looking at the videos but with 5 minutes with our ICP, it was a slam dunk.

Advice to Others

Have a game plan in mind on what you want to get accomplished and then work the plan. Get others on your team involved. This is not a one person show.

campaign automation is a really strong marketing tool. infusionsoft is upgrading their email formatting which is a really good good thing.
The support is first rate. almost without exception the support team are professional, knowledgeable, polite, friendly, and on their game. their hours of availability seem to change, however and i'd be hard pressed to tell you exactly when phone support is available and not. chat has been OK, but not of the same caliber and phone, in my experience.

the customerhub platform is a competent membership site and seems to be well integrated with infusionsoft and we have hundreds of members on the platform. you can store files, videos, audios, etc. to which you can control access by members. or you can link to vimeo or some other video server system. it's pretty...

Pros

Very easy to use, but complex enough for advanced users

Cons

There is no real time interface with USPS for providing accurate shipping costs to customers who buy physical products. that means infusionsoft's store/shopping cart is useless unless you are willing to flat rate all postage, or only sell virtual products. i have been complaining loudly about this for more than five years at every level of the company i could access, but no joy. my impression is this is a marketing/technology company and it doesn't seem that there is any real awareness of or interest in the mechanics of actually shipping real stuff to real people. i don't have any other explanation for it.
