The Workflow Designer lets users build workflows without code. These workflows can be used to introduce actions and delays, run filters, trigger other workflows and conduct experiments and A/B tests.

It integrates easily with Wordpress, which makes it easy for emails acquired through a WordPress form to automatically connect to a list in Iterable. The customer service is very reliable. Downloading email analytics to CSVs have a nice custom date range option and can filter what type of campaigns you want to show up on the export
I haven't run into too much. It take a while to really understand how to fully use it, but once you learn it, you realize how easy it is to navigate the tool.
Perhaps a more accurate integration with donation tracking platforms like stripe would be cool and easier for donation tracking purposes to specific emails sent.

What I do not like about iterable is the lack of step by step instructions. When I was first using the site it was hard to learn.

Iterable is by far the most sophisticated and complex EMS I've ever worked with -- in the best way possible. I work in Iterable nearly every day of the week, and it's complex yet extremely easy to use. I work closely with an email marketing team that works through more of the complex workflows and strategies of email marketing, yet I'm still comfortable working in the system every day. It's not easy to pair the complex needs for email marketing with the simplicity of the user experience and interface, but Iterable did it.
Honestly, there's nothing to dislike. They push new updates and sometimes I'm not notified, but they usually notified you every week with updates that they are pushing. Customer service is impeccable, and that makes up for sometimes missing an update.
Learn what your system is actually capable of doing, because it can do a lot. EMS is a power tool, especially when you're using Iterable.

The user interface is very clean and easy to use. The support staff is always there to help when I need it!
Honestly, there are very few issues that we've experienced. Maybe developing more of a robust mobile app, but that's it.
Make sure to check how the products features align to your own company's goals/needs.

When blasting an e-mail out to thousands of members, the process can be slow, overly complicated, and daunting. At a larger scale, you have a larger margin of error. A single error can be disastrous. Fortunately, Iterable (and the marvelous people who work there) make catastrophic mistakes easy to avoid and difficult to make!
It is constantly evolving, and I often find I'm not taking advantage of a new addition or improvement.
Test it out, send out batches of e-mails to test clients first. Experimentation and customer segmentation are strengths, so play with those tools!

Great platform, great team. I've dealt with plenty of EMS's and none are as responsive and accommodating as they are.
Everything is great! I have no complaints about it.
Ask about workflows. They're what really set them apart.
