The AdvantaChart electronic medical record (EMR) was designed specifically to meet the needs of women’s health providers such as obstetricians and gynecologists. In recent years, the company has also developed capabilities for internal fetal medicine, pediatrics, family medicine and internal medicine.
AdvantaChart offers the EHR on a standalone basis or in conjunction with their practice management system for complete clinical, financial and administrative automation. Key women’s health features and templates include colposcopy, gynecology visits, e-prescribing, antepartum visits, and lab order tracking. AdvantaChart has been ONC-ATCB certified by the Drummond Group. As a result, providers making meaningful use of the AdvantaChart system can qualify for stimulus funds under ARRA.
Technical support is provided directly by AdvantaChart’s development team, so all support reps are extremely familiar with the system’s technology. Since the company was founded in 2001, they have retained 100% of their clients.

Very user friendly. Vendor is very responsive to requests/questions/problems. I had a nightmarish EMR prior to AdvantaChart and never was able to recoup my losses from it. With AdvantaChart I was able to resume my full patient load within a week of installation. Records are very easy to follow for the nurses at the hospital.
They are sunsetting their services. I am heartbroken that I will no longer be able to use this system.
I had nightmarish EMR prior to using AdvantaChart. I would recommend very careful research to look at the efficiency of the product and how much it is able to meet your needs without extraneous and time consuming customization.
