TRAKnet PM - DPM Edition Podiatry EMR Software

TRAKnet PM - DPM Edition is a complete electronic health record (EHR) and practice management system designed specifically for podiatric physicians. The system is tightly integrated with the full suite of  BioMedix™ software products and services for podiatrists, vascular laboratories and hospitals. The system includes functionality for podiatric charting, patient scheduling, electronic prescribing, medical billing and inventory management. TRAKnet has received ONC-ATBC Certification for 2011/2012, such that providers who make meaningful use of the system can qualify for stimulus funds under ARRA.

TRAKnet provides an online library of templates for common office visits. Users can download these templates and modify them as necessary. When working withing a template, the doctor will encounter a familiar user interface that resembles a word processor. The doctor simply complete the blank elements within the template with a keyboard, mouse, stylus or voice recognition. TRAKnet provides in-line multiple-choice answers that can be selected for auto-population. The EHR component of the system also includes other critical features such as electronic superbills, embedded transcription services, electronic prescribing, and referral letters.

We think that TRAKnet should make the short list of any podiatrist due to its laser focus on this specialty, as well as the broad set of complementary software and services offered by BioMedix.
