CareCloud is so easy to use and all of my staff just love it. If you can use an iPhone, you can use CareCloud. The drag and drop features and the ability to utilize the dictation feature is a plus for us all. CareCloud support is second to none. They are always very friendly and patient for all questions.

We love how easy to use CareCloud is. The workflows are very user friendly and the webinars CareCloud provides are great resources for learning to use to the product. Also, CareCloud assigns a friendly, knowledgeable Client Manager to your account to assist in questions you may have. Additionally, CareCloud support is also available via a phone call or online support.

Overall, we are very pleased with the product. The main thing I don't like about CareCloud is that they don't provide a support line for patients needing help with the patient portal. Therefore, the practice must contact support on the patient's behalf.

Recommendations

I recommend choosing CareCloud based on upon its ease of use and the reports that are available for practice management purposes as well as clinical evaluations.

I have used carecloud for the past 2 1/2 years. Prior to CC I used Allscripts. Overall CC is much more user-friendly and undergoes frequent updates based on client feedback

I like the ease of use, the design is pleasing, and it's easy to navigate. The flexibility of inserting and moving sections, groups, findings is also a great benefit to charting.

There's not much I don't like. It would be great if when we record our times in the chart for an appointment with a patient/client, there would be an automatic calculation for the length.

Support from their staff was good prior to just after our launch date. Weeks later, it became difficult to get assistance from items we needed assistance with.

I am the only person that works in my office. I feel much more comfortable now that I know I have someone to talk to if I have a problem. I just pick up the phone and my help is there. It feels as if I actually have someone else in my office to help me solve problems.

At times its hard to get in touch with the help center. I am an impatient person and think I should get help at the touch of a button however, I understand they are helping others and they always return my call.

Recommendations

Make sure you get in touch with the proper person to speak with before you sign anything. Speaking with the right person who understands what you need from a product is valuable. Be very specific when telling the software provider what you are looking for.

The salesman was very persuasive. He promised everything.

The promises made at the sales pitch were not realized. The system goes down frequently and info is lost. Some contact people left the company; others did not return calls.

Recommendations

Get all the promises in writing. Be sure your contract has a clause allowing you to get out of the contract if you find major problems and are dissatisfied.

They are willing to take the time to give you thorough instruction, in person if necessary.

I would like to see the corrected claim with the alerts at the same time if possible. I know it would not print if it did not pass, but to see the claim in the background would help me visualize it better. If in the original billing we had recent coding expectations, including, HCPCs Codes prompted individually for each insurance payer that would be nice. That might take too much memory. If there is an easier way to attach medical notes pertinent to the billing that would be great. They also want a hand drawing at times which is in our notes.

Recommendations

This is a great program for single doctors. I do not know how this works for multiple physicians. It does do well for billing purposes.

The user friendly nature of CareClouds App software manages to make the provider confident that they are documenting everything to meet their own needs as well as the needs of meaningful use.

The buffering time in between clicks. Our Doctor complains about how often CareCloud takes to "think" in between functions.

Do they actively seek your feedback and improvement.

I don't like that all the charts are available for everyone in the office to see. That the clients are available to anyone who can log in to view. I also struggle with the charts - they seem so intuitive but they are frustrating and more code work than just fill in the blanks.

There really isn't anything about this system that I like at this point.

As I sit on hold for the 5th time this week, this system is always going down. Every time I've called in over the last month, I've been put on hold for over 25 minutes and a couple of time, I've been on holder over 45 minutes without ever talking to anyone. We can't even log in this morning. Some days we can't verify insurance thru the Patient App. Other days we can't pull all of the diagnosis from the EHR portion of the system to the Billing portion. Horrible system. I'm not sure what system these other groups are using but it is not the system we have grown to hate!

Recommendations

Look further than this if you want an efficient system.

No need for a server or legacy software. Goes month to month.

It takes some time to make updates to app; it's also not compatible with Dragon or other EHR systems for integration.

Recommendations

Hire your own consultant, not the EMR consultant from their company, on a contract until complete integration has completed. All EHR companies only give minimal help and ask you to use their templates. Think about total time and money needed to integrate the EHR system fully.
