Over all i'm happy with Officemate. Although our office does not use it to its full potential and feel like what we do use could be stream lined a little bit.
Customer Support is awesome! Hold times can get a little long but over all very helpful.
Having to click on 3 different screens to get a full picture on patient orders.

The detail and thoroughness. You can be very specific. But you often have to enter the information twice.
A lot of clicking in the electronic record portion and redundancy entering information
Reduce the redundancy. For instance if the doctor selects an exam time in exam writer then it should transfer over to OfficeMate. In examwriter having to enter information twice should be removed. Minimize some of the clicking in selecting boxes would be good especially for normalcy.

Pros - works OK for scheduling, billing, and the like.
Cons - you better not have a problem - Customer service is rude, and many times will not get back with you unless you send an e-mail. Phone access is only when they call you.
Updating to ICD-10 has been nothing but a pain ! I think they could have gone about this whole process better. The staff constantly complains about this system - of course they use it mare than I do........
