Created by Greenway Health, Intergy Practice Management System has been designed to improve the overall workflow and billing procedures of a practice. The system helps doctors and office staff manage the practice in its entirety, from billing and collections to patient scheduling.

With the Automated Eligibility Verification feature, office staff can easily confirm a patient’s coverage during check-in, before the appointment takes place. By automating this step, practices can avoid claim denials and insurance issues, leading to a smoother overall billing process.

With the optional Claim Scrubbing application, practices can check over insurance claims before submitting them, saving time and ensuring that practices receive payment as soon as possible. Intergy also features rules-based scheduling, to help improve patient attendance and streamline the scheduling process.

Intergy is available as both a web-based and on-premise solution, so practices can be flexible regarding deployment. The system is a fit for practices of all types, including Cardiology, Pediatrics, Neurology, and more.

We have the product since 2004. With the continual sale of the company, we don't now have a handle on all of the features and changes over those years.

Pros

Comfortable. Good for most functions. Service has improved over the last year, as well as the attention to our changing needs. It was horrible.
The current team have been very helpful in recent weeks.

Cons

We spend a lot of money on "maintenance" and "support" which is not used that often. Need more updates and training now with the many upgrades and patches.

This system was already in place when I became the practice manager.
Felt the staff had not been adequately trained to use the system to the fullest of capability.
Still, fill the system is capable of more that what we currently use it for. Customer support readily available via web chat or phone.

Advice to Others

Most of our medical community is using EPIC so the biggest disadvantage for us is we use a different system and have to access EPIC through provider link.

We operate a very busy Family Medicine practice in Arizona and have been using the same EHR and PM for 6 1/2 years. The utility of this system is very highly regarded by all users from physician to front office. Greenway has excellent support staff that are ALWAYS available and that is important to us. Greenway has helped us to achieve Meaningful Use and we are in the second year of Stage II. We appreciate the constant innovation of their product to help us maintain a really efficient operation. Recently, we were offered an updated patient portal for better e-communication with our patients and we took advantage of this immediately. The transition was smooth and our patients find it very user-friendly. They can even pay their bills online. The best part of this system is its customization possibilities. Every practice has different needs and this one can easily tailor fit to any possible requirement of its user whether it be physician, nurse, biller or front office personnel. I could be much more specific about the many reasons we enjoy our relationship with Greenway, but wouldn't know where to begin, so suffice it to say that we plan on a lasting future relationship and would never consider using a different vendor.

We use Intergy EHR and Practice Analytics and have found both products to be very suited to the needs of our busy practice. The customer service is excellent! I have received a very positive outcome anytime I needed to call for service or with questions - the technicians are amazing. Reporting is very good and the product is easy to learn and use on a daily basis.

I have used Greenway products at my last two practices. I am very impressed with the customer service and the instructional education videos. It was an easy transition for the staff. I find the financial reports are a big help for the billing department as well as myself. I would definitely recommend Greenway Intergy for electronic medical records. I also like the way Intergy has hundreds of templates available to choose how you want your office notes to look like and you can also design your own form. It is so easy to customize and that makes life easier for the providers. The flow of the note also makes it an easy transition for providers as it follows the medical thought process to assist the providers in making a plan of care. We also purchased with the program Practice Analytics. I love this program. I can see at anytime how the practice is adhering to the meaningful use criteria as well as allowing us to move forward with the MIPS reporting. I use the end of month reports for all my providers to know where they are financially as well as how they are trending with the quality reporting. It also helps us to evaluate how as a practice we can improve our standards of care and patient outcomes.

Pros

So far I love everything about this EHR.

Cons

I have not seen any draw backs to this EHR.

Our practice uses both the Practice Management as well as the EHR. We also use Practice Analytics which helped us achieve our PCMH. Using all 3 systems we have been able to attest to over One Million Dollars in Meaningful Use. The PA Dashboards are easy to use and understand and are used for both clinical and non-clinical staff. As an FQHC we are constantly being asked for different reports, Intergy provides up-to-date UDS reporting.

Pros

The support system has greatly improved over the years. They are professional, easy to work with and best of all they follow-up on the cases that you put in until the issue is resolved. The staff working specifically with FQHC are excellent.

Cons

The company does listen to your ideas but sometimes it takes quite awhile to get them implemented in the system.

Advice to Others

No product is perfect, everyone of them has some areas they perform better in and other areas not so well. This product performs well without major issues.

We have used Greenway Intergy for our practice EMR for two and a half years now.
We used Medical Manager previously through Sage that was purchased by Greenway.
We have always found both companies to be great to work and to provide excellent support.
I would highly recommend the Greenway company and Greenway products to anyone looking for new EMR software

I love the ease of use and the update reminders we get- set it and forget it. The support is easy to reach and no question is too silly to ask - they have always helped. The reports for end of the month that I generate are helpful to the doctors at our practice to review the financials. I really can't think of anything negative.

Pros

I can't really come up w/ any cons- I guess that means you have created a great product.

Advice to Others

I personally would advise people to look into this system. We have not signed on board w/ all the offered features as we are a smaller office- but, what we have works perfectly for us. They do offer all the bells and whistles if you so desire.

Our practice uses both the Practice Management (Scheduling and Billing) product as well as the Electronic Health Record System of Intergy. The two systems communicate well with one another, have made our office run much more efficiently and has made tracking our healthcare outcomes easy to assess. We also use the Practice Analytics product which helped us achieve our PCMH (patient centered medical home) certification. The reports both financial and population health are useful in the management of the practice and providing better follow up care.

We are a Revenue Cycle Management company who has worked with 12-15 software companies through the years. Intergy is the most practical and functional of them all.

Pros

The hard close each day guarantees the numbers will not change if a report is run at a later date. This is certainly not the case with other large software vendors. The financial reporting capabilities are great for a Doctor's Office. Without quality financial reporting, cash flow will suffer, which renders all of the other bells and whistles of some software packages worthless.

Cons

Being a web based product would be more beneficial than connecting through Citrix or RDP. It works well, but it requires a completely stable Internet environment.

Advice to Others

Do not fall for the demos of software vendors (do your research) and do not let a software vendor control your money. The money should always come to the Practice first and then pay your vendors.

From scheduling and billing all the way to external interfaces and patient charting, Intergy's suite of software does a phenomenal job of helping medical offices meet the ever growing increases in business complexity. There is nothing I like the best. This product on v9.30 is becoming very old school, outdated, expensive.

Likes Least

Reporting missing excel, missing automations, difficult to use and time consuming to maintain.

Recommendations
